Ironic thing. There is going to be an album for GTA6. And it will be available on both CD and Vinyl.

So clearly it's about control for Sony and Rockstar, not wanting you to own games. But you can own a CD and Vinyl. Both are crappy companies. I really want to see Sony crash and burn so hard. But the way Sony is going, it might be sooner, rather than later.

@Cloudis
Some of the artwork is stunning, but if you've lost interest, nothing will really do much for you here.
Satori really enjoyed it, but it gets a 'okay' rating from me. Theres somethings I like, but like Blackest Night before it, too much I don't. It's still miles better than any of the Crisis plotlines, and far superior to the horrific new Trinity, but this is definitely a personal taste issue.
It does, however, link into Flashpoint, which links into the new 52, so for completion sake, check it out. At least they used it to bring back one of my fav comic chars.

Making it a point this year to both buy and read more comics, so last night read Batman: R.I.P. and Superman: Earth One in one go.

Both I thoroughly enjoyed, RIP was a bit trippy at times, jumping all over the show and referring to bits of story that I wasn't familiar with, but they do cover the essentials, albeit much later into things, so at the start I was quite lost.
I also only realized later that this arc basically follows Hush, with Final Crisis the next in line, both of which I have but haven't read either, so perhaps I should've read Hush beforehand, though again, it's self-contained enough to not feel as if there's a huge chunk missing, cool collection, though I wouldn't punt it as essential reading.

Earth One was amazing, loved it from start to finish. A book that once finished, made me so upset that it was a one shot, Straczinsky (sp?) had a grander story in mind for sure. Though the primary villain in this issue was quite one sided and creative, I enjoyed the fresh angle on the origin story, and if they continue it at some stage, I'll definitely get it.

Marvel Comics - New Mangaverse: The Rings of Fate

Very cheezy, but all in all well drawn. It actually does look like manga the whole series through, not like some other comics that try and copy the style and fail miserably at it. Was a typical storyline, very boring actually... But I liked how they took typical classic Anime liberties with the characters (like making Cap & Human Torch female or making Spidey a ninja !spidey though the Wolverine with lightsaber claws was a bit much for me . Still nice to have, and a good read for the nice price

@Surreal I think that you will be very disappointed with Spawn. The early issues, I read up till about issue 60 or so are real cr@p. That is beside the early issues written by Gaiman and Moore. I remembr McFarlane and and the pro-Image Wizard of the time trumpeting Spawn's big costume change around issue 25 or 50 and all that happened was they gave him a paint can for a boot! Besides that I dislike McFarlane personally for crapping all over Marvel for, admittedly, non-talent friendly policies and then him turning around and doing the same s*** to Neil Gaiman over the creation of Angela.

@Magius: To be frank it's more the Armageddon arc that I was keen on getting, figured I may as well start from the beginning, but that's a shame to hear.
I knew McFarlane had a lot of bad blood with other creators and fan hate but I never bothered to find out why.

I stopped reading Spawn at about issue 50, after that, from what I've read, the story became ridicoulously retarded. Was keen to keep going on but. . .

@Knightfall
Ultimate Spider-man is amazing, just finished the Death of Spider-man arc myself. Talk about heartbreaking.

And now Im reading the comics with Miles Morales as Spidey and, like many people, I wasn't too sold on the idea, but guess what, its pretty good so far. Bendis is taking his time writing it, and I think had it been handed to any other writer, it would have failed miserably. Everything that made Ultimate Spidey so great is still there.

@Tiggi part of my criticism of him is the fact that he essentially bit the hand that fed him as without Marvel and their big push on him and the rest of the Image 6, they would never have been in the place to start Image. Don't get me wrong, Marvel's stance on creator rights around characters they created while in the employ of Marvel was boneheaded, but unlike the rest of the Image 6 who said they are leaving Marvel over those issues had a couple of interviews on it and then after their message was delivered stopped going on about Marvel and to a lesser extent DC, McFarlane harped on about it for years afterwards and at every opportunity he could get. Google McFarlane vs Gaiman, there's a lot of interesting stuff there.
