Never used a Wii U so wouldn't know what the speeds are like. Reports or not people are always going to bitch about something so might as well wait till I can try it myself.

WiiU IGN Review

It is backwards comparable with the Wii, but you have to reboot your WiiU every time you wana play your Wii games on it!
The WiiU can not charge the game pad, you need to plug it into the wall! If you have any open plugs left & that charging cable is short!!

Sounds like pretty petty issues, at least the thing has BC. Also the controller probably charges with its own power source due to you being able to play a game on the controller anywhere within range

BC is a BIG plus!!!

With the PS3 you just plug the controller into the console, easy! But with the WiiU you got to find a separate power source! & with the game pad internal battery not lasting very long, that might be a pain?

So many "petty" issues combined makes for a "big" one though!

How many ppl are just gana use the pro controller, for most of the games that dont actually need the game pad? For example AC3 & Black Ops 2!

not too bad, the screen is actually decent even though its not multitouch (why need a multitouch if you have so many buttons )
I'm loving the Miiverse, a little community for each game where you can doodle and write things
I was able to go outside my house and near the gate with the pad before it lost signal lol
you can still use it while you are charging, but it lasts me around 4 hours

unfortunately the only thing holding me back at this stage is $$$$$$$
but i'm definitely gonna get one before MH3 comes out

It's quite expensive imo. I would rather save up and get the PS4 when ever thats due.

Was going to buy one since R3800 for a new console isn't that much but then I realized I wouldn't touch the thing for about 6 months, you know until games actually release on the console

I'm not one for social media games so besides Mario there is nothing I want to play on it.

Will wait to see more of Bayonetta 2 and the announcement of a new Metroid title

I saw it yesterday for R4200. That was the 8gb bundle. Premium was R4800. I guess some places sell it for much more.

Cheapest i have seen the WiiU is for R4000, & thats for the 8GB model!
If i got one, i would go for the 32GB model though!
