AWX has the 8gb for R3900, both the 8gb and 32gb are pointless anyway, you won't be putting much on either hence why it supports external storage which if your clever you get the cheaper 8gb and use the cash you saved over the 32gb to get an external 500gb-1tb HD.

Considering you can already get ZombiU 2nd hand it doesn't seem like as much of a waste

I agree with Savage though...rather save more and wait for the PS4. Unless of course you're a nintendo fan, there is zero proof of it, but I believe the PS4 will trump the Wii U in more ways than one, thus as the saying goes "All good things come to those who wait"

I think it's being incredibly closed minded just saying wait for the PS4. Luckily I think those gamers that get the Wii-U have already budgeted for PS4 and 720. Nintendo fans seem to be the smarter of the bunch.

The reason I think it's a closed minded statement is due to just personal experience with the Wii. For me personally I was able to experience the best fighting game of this generation, the best action platformer of the generation and the best adventure game of this generation, all because I owned a Wii. As a gamer that means a lot more than this is better than this etc etc.

So yeah I think for gamers the Wii-U is a great choice once the library expands. However for people that don't like change and want the same thing over and over it's probably better to wait for the new PS4 or 720. For me personally gaming is getting a bit bland which is why I got a Vita and why I am looking at getting the Wii-U once it has a game I really want to play like a new metroid, zelda or galaxy.

The Wii also had some of the best jrpgs on this generation like Xenoblade and The Last story.

Want to pick up a Wii-U but only once the price has dropped a-little.

I'm not a big fan of Nintendo. I've had the best experience thus far with Sony's consoles. In my opinion the best exclusives are on their consoles. That's just my opinion. So I'm not going to budget +-R15000 to get all 3 consoles.

And end up using 2 of them 90% of the time. So I agree with you 100%. Maybe once I can see what games the Wii U has to offer by mid 2013, I might look at maybe buying a 2nd hand one from someone...

I don't think Sony is dumb enough to release another R6k console. They learned their lesson with the PS3 which got even more clear with the release of the Vita.

There is only a couple hundred thousand idiots out there buying launch day consoles with no games now,that doesn't equal profit anymore. People are starting to speak up and are saying you want my money give me games worth my money.

If the PS4 release like the PS3 did we are in for another drought of games. The PS3 had nothing when it was released and was hurt even further by it's price tag, it also offered nothing new to those who had been playing on their PS2 for the past couple of years.

Unfortunately what people seem to believe with regards to how the new PS and Xbox are going to launch it seems we will be left out again. Many believe the new xbox will only be $99 as they will be given out with contract purposes with MS new mobile phones. People thing Sony will be giving the PS3 on new cable contracts and such. So if they are able to get the deals like that, similar to the past $99 xbox where will that leave us in SA?

Hopefully we won't be charged an arm and a leg again and hopefully Sony are thinking of the world and not a select few countries.

Also final hope is that developers are working on games for launch day cause I really don't want a repeat of the PS3 launch.

I won't be making the same mistake twice. I bought the PS3 on launch day.

Probably wont be picking anything up on Launch day unless the launch titles are amazing, still perfectly happy with this generation. Not interested in the next gen lol.

@ Morschee - Ditto. I love the launch consoles and the tech demos. It also cool to see the consoles evolve with the firmware updates

It's a 600mb update so it won't take too long. Press are blowing these things out of proportion. Like the 5gb update that was actually 1gb. So dumb how people seem to be trying their best for a new console to be seen in a negative light.

Holy crap, I went to see my DJ (Very good friend of mine) lastnight to sort a few last things out for my wedding. He recently bought a WiiU. So instead of just having a 2 hour discussion around my wedding last night, it ended up as a "semi" gaming night lol!! He only had this 1 game, it's a side scroll game with a bunny type character, and I must say, it was an AWESOME game, but not just that, the graphics on this thing was insanely good. That "Tablet" remote thing did take me a while to get use to, due to it's enormous size, but it's not as uncomfortable as you may think. For the little amount of time I spent with this console, I LOVED IT!!!

So once again, I take my words back, I'm seriously gonna buy myself one, just need to get my wedding and honemoon behind my back, but after that, I'M DEF buying a WiiU Just need to decide which one, knowing me, it'll be the most expensive one, or at least the one that comes with the most goodies

Ah man...just watched a vid on that game...looks SO awesome!!! Now I really want a WiiU Besides, then I'll be able to buy Bayonetta 2 as well There's just SO much win in buying a WiiU

Just gotta wait till I come back from Honeymoon though...

I've seen a lot of people (especially parents and people in a committed relationship) praise it purely for the fact that you can continue your game in the vicinity of your family by using the game pad.

That appeals to me quite a bit since the wife or kids can watch tv, play around the lounge and I can remain in their company playing my own game, not even having to be relegated to a diluted experience.

So my interest is peaked the more people talk about their personal experiences with the Wii U

My interest died once I bought a Vita. It does everything the Wii U can do anyway. Games look amazing on the Vita and a lot of new games coming out allow for cross platform play and sharing of saved files. So in essence the Vita becomes a controller/extension of the PS3 as well.

The only reason left for me to get a Wii U is for Bayonetta 2 and as much as I love the game I'm not spending R4k on a console that will be dead by the end of the year.

If Bayonetta 2 doesn't get a multiplatform release then hopefully I can pick up a Wii U at some stage for R900 like you can a Wii

The Wii U needs to hurry up and get that library expanded to pique my interest again and Nintendo need to learn to Market things and keep gamers in the loop, their old school style of thinking no longer works in this day and age. Really irritating how they are going about this consoles launch. All because they have the mentality of "it's worked for us before" STFU and get people's attention with marketing and getting move developers on board.
