That sucks.

During shipping?
Feel like I've seen tons of people on Reddit and elsewhere complaining about cancellations on the Steelbook, so supply seemed like it was always an issue

@VectorTwoSix isn't it sold out completely in Europe ?

Yeah, it's quite sad.
Still deciding what to do.
@VectorTwoSix did you find a store in Europe that has stock?

Steelbooks sadly got lost. I'm headed to Europe next week so I'll just pick it up there.

What news is this about Control @VectorTwoSix?

I really feel bad for @Tea and the rest of Nexus staff. Can't think that delays are nice for them. Especially the great lengths NexusHub goes to, to get these physical releases for us.

I'm just grateful that NexusHub manages to get hold of these niche titles that I love so much. We'd be screwed otherwise

Just saw the news about Control Resonant - really sad, but that's the state of SA shipping I guess.

What does this alternate version look like exactly?

Sony's decisions has slowly eroded my faith in the company but there's not much recourse given the state of tech these days. I'm likely riding the PS5 gen into the sunset because PC parts keep going up and up and the PS6 is definitely going to have a disgusting price tag. So I'm mostly just enjoying games where I can. I'm not buying GTA6 but I did buy Phantom Blade and I'll likely double dip for the physical.

Not to say people shouldn't vote with their wallets, because that's ultimately what everyone should do. But at this point in time, I'm more worried about AI. I don't think I can even care about Sony lol

@Haseo

I think Sony is going to get a reality check. They know that physical stills sells very well outside of America the Land of the Fat.

Putting all their eggs in 1 basket with the American market is going to blow up in their faces. I have quite the choice words on how I feel about Sony.

But I am sure @Tea will have a heart attack reading what I would post on the chatbox. But Sony has lost my business forever.

But we'll see what the NO PHYSICAL NO BUY guys do when GTA6 release day comes. I bet most of them will be the hypocrites they are and buy it.

@KnightFall500

What I can tell you is that Hellraiser Revival became on of my favourite games so far I've played this year. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. I liked it so much that I replayed it straight after finishing it.

Remnant from the Ashes on PS4

This is fun! I was thinking it was basically "Soulsborne" with guns (as that's how the game is described to me) but I want to say that not 100% correct, its 3rd Person Diablo with allot of RNG and guns.

Still on playthrough 1 but wow. looking forward to play this 3 person co-op with my friends after we completed Bloodborne NG+ for that Plat...

Metro Exodus EE. The first time I played this I kinda snuck around, ready for jumpscares and trying to be a Russian Ninja. Now it's more "guns blazing." Searching for extra ammo usually means spending more ammo, so I'm going for a faster run. Still hella fun, but realizing there is no penalty for just running through levels can take some immersion out

Started Mass Effect, just under ~50 GB for ME1/2 off the disc, 50.5 GB after 14+ GB patch. Leveling system has been changed but the classic one remains. Remember to check all options/settings before starting as there is quite a bit to tweak. Had to restart because somehow Shephard ended up with a huge jutting chin.

Never played MW, UG2 was always the best IMO.
Playing MW now on the 360, its an old game ported from the PS2 era. So it does look a little rough around the edges, but you don't notice when you are racing.
30 odd cars, no Ferraris or Nissan Sky Line GTR.
Car handling is very good. Decent size open world map.
Car customization is okay, but not great.
Sound track is good, Celldweller, Disturbed, Avenge Sevenfold.
You have 15 rivals to takedown. Winning other races before you can take them on.
Made it to rival 10, but gets a bit repetitive after a while.

Sekiro on PS4
I need to ask, did I miss the train on this game or why is this game not talked about more then the "Sekiro is too hard and needs an easy mode"

Combat is great! I wonder if the hype died down because of the less open way the game feeds info and story. But wow,
About 6 hours into the game and finally killed the one general on the horse. The giant white snake hide & seek was great fun and Lady Butterfly is a pain but great. the fact you get stringer but can still be killed by the lowest "level" of enemy just cause you might be too confident.

Balance in the game is great. I feel its not unfair, its more of a dance then combat. knowing when to jump or block or "Mikiri Counter" is amazing.

I would really hope this game could get a sequel or more of this goes into Elden Ring. This game just got the shovel cause of the difficulty!

Sunless Sea

This is the kind of game you play casually and then realise hours have passed. I have only had a few runs so far and am enjoying it a lot.

A Plague Tale: Innocence
The next-gen upgrade provided an excuse to go back and I'm glad I did, This remains as close as you can get to a Naughty Dog-style narrative-driven, cinematic adventure, and it's disappointing relatively few people played it. Gruesome body horror, fun companions, great banter, fluid stealth, lots of puzzles, and sadistic combat opportunities. Tonally, it's all over the place and the story gets very weird, but the experience is fun and polished.

Mortal Kombat XL
Played the day 1 version on release, so missed out on the dlc.
Got the GOTYE now for all the dlc.
Alien & Predator are awesome! Leatherface & Jason, not so much.
The MK characters are what you would expect, but Triborg is AWESOME!!!
Each fighter has three fighting styles/variations. But Triborg has Sektor, Cyrax & Smoke. Plus a secret forth one, Cyber Sub Zero!

Days Gone -

Been playing this on and off again to see when it finally rises above generic. It has plenty going for it - the main storyline, the biker aesthetic, dealing with hordes - but it's so bloated with secondary storylines that still have to be completed to advance the main one. It doesn't help that the basic gathering/crafting/upgrades/map-clearing activities are 90% bland (the hordes being the exceptional 10%).

This is a PS4 game I'd like to see get a Director's Cut on PS5, with secondary storylines either excised or reworked as entirely optional. Making players wait 15+ hours for the pacing to improve is unacceptable.

Encased: A Sci-Fi Post-Apocalyptic RPG -

If you liked the classic Fallout games or, more recently, Wasteland 2 + 3, this is a must-buy. Deep character creation, immediate and long-term choices, tons of skill checks, and a story that even allows you to murder everyone and still trigger key quests.

No Man's Sky - Even with all the work put into this, it's still a tedious, monotonous, unexciting pile of garbage. How do you make space exploration monotonously boring? These guys found a way. And all the grinding to build to grind to build. It's beyond tedious and unplayably frustrating.

Rockstar does a table tennis game, exclusive to the Xbox360. So random lol
