Currently playing AssCreed Doppio. Out of the few new games I got I've been drawn more into this one than the others.
The story has just blown up immensely, they seem to have expanded the mysticism and canon so much that I can't help but want to find out as much as possible about everything.
The shop system is well done, the new varying missions are well done, the cities are amazing, climbing feels a lot smoother and I'm really liking Ezio. Altair always felt like he was trying to be a big bad ass but Ezio feels like a real person.
Combat seems to be the most criticized aspect of it, and while I am finding it simple, it still works and doesn't detract from the polish that they've put everywhere else.
Can really see why everyone who felt meh and tired of the tediousness of the first game praised the second so much, they really fixed so much.
Anywho, very much enjoying it, so will be playing it now until completion before going into anything else.

Mass Effect 2 - 29 Hours in and just finished recruiting Tali to my squad think I'm going to take a break from the action and just mine some planets for a while, been doing missions for like 6 hours. Getting some cool upgrades but need a quick change of pace for a bit without needing to read so much

One statue away from finding out granddad's secret in Montezuma (or whatever the place is called), and 3 Assassin's chambers left to find.
Story wise I think it's still early days, but the side missions are a boatload of fun.
Even tricky things don't feel like a schlep, like the hidden cyphers, since the game makes it challenging without being overly cumbersome to do those. Have quite a number still left to find though, not going after them explicitly, but hunt them down if it indicates one is there.
Really enjoying it, I'll end up doing a multitude of things on the way to a story mission and it never feels like a waste of time.
Reckon I'll change it up this weekend and jam some more Valkyria Chronicles though.

Mass Effect 2 - Did Tali, The doctors and Grunt's Loyalty missions, Grunts was pretty cool enjoyed that one. Going to do the rest of my crew's this weekend, looks like I have one more slot for a team mate, looking forward to seeing who it might be since I haven't got any recruitment mission yet.
Also got word on the net that I get a choice to kill Samara on her loyalty mission, depending on what happens I'll see whether I let her live or die just means one less power I can teach to Shepard.
