@Catha - I get you - I still waited on the physical for Alan Wake 2. Was also improved by then with updates

Luckily we arent starved for games at the moment - too many releases

This all is starting to seem rather deliberate from publishers. Absolute scum

@Tea - it's pretty sad. Like Physical needs any more blows

Going to suck, navigating the minefield of spoilers. Already a 2 day early access perk for deluxe digital. Now a further 3 weeks.

I suppose it's better than the year that AW2 had to wait.

SA ETA is the 19th October

Downton Abbey - It was cute, nice to see the whole cast again. Far too little screen time for Matthew Goode though

Deadtectives - Mildly amusing comedy horror about the guys who have rigged ghost investigation shows going into a real haunted house. Not found footage TG.

Legend of the Drunken Master - Jackie Chan at his finest. Some really good stunts and fights scenes and less comedy than I expected. Still one of the best '90s Chan films out there

The comedy is dependant on whether or not you saw the original dub or the redub. In the last ten years or soe they've been redubbing all his movies with his voice and a new script, removing a lot of the actual comedy.

Godzilla King of the Monsters
Too much yada, yada, yada, & not enough monster fights.

Star Wars Phantom Menace
Its still an okay movie.
CGI still looks good, just the green screen you can see a mile off.
Acting is very meh...
& Jar Jar gets more annoying with every watch.
The Pod Racing & the fight between Darth Maul, Obi Wan & Qui Gon is good.
& the best part of the whole movie, Darth Maul. Gets killed off at the end.

Suicide Squad
Wasn't perfect, but still enjoyably.

Justice League - was OK, up to speed with DCEU films now.

Godzilla: King of Monsters - went on and on especially that fight at the end. Kudos for using a Pixies song and the Atlantean Temple though.

Fast & Furious Hobbs and Shaw, freaking amazing movie, I was never a fan of the F&F franchise, but this movie blew my mind….even if you not a F&F fan, this one is worth the watch.
And how was Ryan Reynolds in this movie?

Wonder Woman Bloodlines - meh. The central relationship between Diana and the one character is cliched and boring. Some decent action, but ultimately boring and this must be the third or second animated feature to rehash her meeting Trevor.

Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans - Fun crossover and no it did not copy Endgame

The Wandering Earth - America: No one can make action disaster movies as dumb as we do! China: Hold all the beer! There has to be a new level by which to measure idiocy created just for this movie alone. because it's well over 9000. I can suspend my disbelief quite a bit for movies, but this had even that ability of mine screaming: "NO! NO! NO!" It's a really big budget movie with some great VFX shots on par with any American made blockbuster, but clearly the script and any sort of common sense wasn't budgeted for. There are some nice visual shots though. This is all I could think while watching this though:

I Am Mother
Was a good sci fi, but no big pay off at the end.

Star Wars Attack of the Clones
Much better then the first one, in all aspects.
Including a lot less Jar Jar

Joker- 10- 10 man what a movie, At times i forgot that this was a DC movie and i found myself captivated in a story about mental illness, a downward spiral into madness, that could have been prevents if society practiced love and tolerance. Its a movie about the times, and it asked some tough questions. People say its romanticizing violence, i don't agree, i think if anything its making us aware the we all need to develop more love and patience, and that yes there are some real problems in this world that money cant solve .

Geek…and you shall find , another documenty about comic books, just had two intersting topics. The New 52 Lex Luthor was based om Trump and the organization call Heroreach that is a bunch of voluteers that go to childern hospitals and visit the kids dressed up as superhoeroes.

Deadpool 2 The Super Duper Cut, about 14 minutes longer, showed a bit more of how Deadpool tried to commit suicide, extra scenes in the X Mansion and a Captian America joke, Extra scene with Jaggernaut and Russel outside a Big and Tall store and then the new version of the “Baby” end credit scene. Also some song were changed and they now include A-HA! Take on me.

Midsummer, what a weird strange movie…

The Matrix…I watched with my son and he was not impressed at all with the movie… 

Tolkien - Such a lovely movie, visually beautiful but also the story of his younger years and his friendships was so moving. Made me cry Seeing Oxford in all its glory was fantastic too.

Childs Play 2019
Terrible reboot, but still not as awful as the Robocop one.
Hamill added nothing to the movie. The doll looked terrible, & behaved like the original Chuckys dumb younger brother. The kid says, I will name you Han Solo. & the dolls like, Chucky? Hello I'm Chucky.
I get the dolls defective & all, but how do you get Chucky from Han Solo?
I will give them props to using practical effects for Chucky. Thought they would have gone full CGI for that.

Top Gun
Bit of a pointless movie.
Cocky pilots co pilot dies in training exercise. Losses his nerve, goes into battle, gets nerve back. Wins dog fight, returns to base. Everybody rejoices like they just won the war. The end.
& the under tones, some of them are right in your face lol
But its still a classic

Hot Shots
meh...

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith
The best of the second trilogy.
Lots of acting, no Jar Jar & the birth of Vader!!
The second trilogy does get a bad rap. But other then the first movie, its not bad.

Dude…Top Gun pointless…you surely were not around when the movie came out in the 80’s …ever guy when out and bought “RayBands”, Pep Store still sold the pilot type mirror lensed sunglasses.and don’t forget that F16 Top Gun leather jacket…a shop in the Oriental Plaza in Johannesburg sold the sew on patches…

Every schoolboy wanted to be Maverick…I still get goose bumps when I hear Berlin’s Take your breath away.

Red Sea Diving Resort – a very good movie and show that Chris Evens can act. Shocking to see what happened in the rest of Africa just because you were of a different religion.

Despicable Me 2 – I jut love those little yellow guys…

It Chapter 2 – No sure if I enjoyed it, the movie felt rushed and that last part was confusing.

About Time - Have seen this multiple times and still love it each time. Domnhall Gleeson is lovely, as is Bill Nighy. I always enjoy British rom-coms, they seem to do them a lot better.
