But putting aside all the negativity.

A reminder that Blood Of The Dawnwalker releases in 15 days

Because a bunch of fat Americans can't stand up and change a disc (which takes seconds), we are being forced into a no ownership future.

Statistics don't lie. Physical games are still very very healthy outside of America. It's doing great in Europe and even more so Asia.

People don't hate Americans enough

Sony has become quite the douchebag company to be honest. Sony has become your typical fat American company

Yep, has a disclaimer on the boaxart that the disc needs an update to version 2.0 and you need a PS account before it can be redeemed, so it's not even a reprinted disc, same version as launch.

The physical edition of Ghost of Yotei is unfortunately the vanilla version with a code for the DLC.

@Tea

Hope you had a chill weekend as well. I finished Beast Of Reincarnation, so I wasted my whole weekend trying to decide what to play

Dark Phoenix
Plot holes, bad acting & just bad!
VERY disappointing

Happy Death Day 2U
Takes place directly where the first one ends. Just as good, but did not have that great twist at the end like the first one.

X Men – Dark Phoenix – was a disappointment…the best part of the movie was the first 10 minutes. They could have done so much with the movie and yet the movie went nowhere…

They had so much potential with the D'Bari, however they twisted the story…When Jean Gray turned Dark Phoenix, she destroyed the D,Bari’s home world and they came to Earth for revenge, not like the movie...

The movie was an utter disappointment for the swansong of XMen…hopefully the MCU can resurrect the XMen…

Revised rating 7/10
Better then I remembered

Furious 7
IMDb 7.2
Previous (Popcorn) Rating 4/10
Revised rating 4/10
Still terrible

The Fate of the Furious
IMDb 6.7

Will never watch them again though.

Kong: Skull Island - great, not sure about the megafauna though.
1984 - worthy of your time.
Revolt - garbage
Pokémon Detective Pikachu - enjoyed this except for the first 20 minutes that were pre-Pikachu.

Warigami - A really stupid, Z-List film but it is a ton of fun. Fight scenes are not well choreographed and you can see that the budget was low as many external scenes were shot against a green screen to save on location shots. Still a fun timewaster when there is nothing else to watch

Childs Play (2019) - WTF were they thinking?? Is Hollywood's mandate on remakes to make things worse than they were before?? Just terrible. And that doll design was so [censored] horrendous. If you think it looks bad in pictures, wait till you see it in action. Just wow.

Spider-Man Far from home…still the best Spider-Man made…just noticed so must more, now that I can watch it at home. Something that stills makes me wonder…the Brad character…did (do) Marvel have a bigger plan with him? He surely got a lot of attention in the movie. And watching the movie for the second time, knowing the outcome…Fury did look a bit “off’….

Spider-Man just “found” his feel in the MCU and then the entire agreement went pear shape…I really hope Sony / Disney can make a new deal with Spidey

Spider Man Far From Home
Good, but the first half was not that interesting.
If you read the comics, then from the first trailer, you know whats up with Mysterio. So no big twist there.
That illusion scene with Spidy & Mysterio was awesome!!! Zombie Iron Man
The first end credit scene was great. Doubt we will see the out come though. With Spidy going back to Sony. Hell, they will probably reboot the whole thing again
The last end credit scene makes you wana watch the whole movie again!
Still hate that they made the Skrulls good guys

IT! Chapter 2 - It was ok. The scares were the same as the previous movie, except that they tried to ramp them up and just made everything cartoony instead.

Godzilla rewatch in preparation for the new one - boring.
Spawn rewatch (it's on Netflix) - wow this has dated terribly. Pretty rubbish in hindsight.
Shanghai Fortress - [censored] terrible, I see the director and writer publicly apologized in China.
Khartoum - interesting classic
Quigley Down Under- OK, laughable moralizing from Americans though.
Wonder Woman - finally got around to watching, fantastic.

Spidey far from home. Good movie, but ultimately feels like it doesn't quite tie into the Marvel Universe... probably on purpose?

Dunno how you get that with Nick Fury involved so heavily and the death of Tony weighing so heavily on Peter. Also, the whole plot revolves around Tony's EDITH and who he appoints as his successor. Also that last post-credits scene

Yeah, but Nick wasn't Nick, And while Tony is referenced, he still feels removed. It's possible it's done on purpose because Peter feels alone, and not like a "real" Avenger. He should be on PTSD meds after all he's been through so far.
He's still a kid! The Sony/Marvel problems also makes it feel bitter-sweet.

Kind of weird how often the root of the problems in this world is Stark Technology. You would think there is a kill-switch by now

Makes sense as the main character is dead too. IIRC it takes place between Winter Soldier and Civil War and the footage they are using is unused footage from another film and not newly shot footage. Wonder how much this cost Disney just to get the rights to reuse this footage

Seems MCU is planning a lot with Red Guardian, David Harbour signed a multi-movie deal with Marvel.

Will he take over from Cap? Would be an interesting take as he was part of the Winter Guard alongside Winter Soldier and Crimson Dynamo, the Russian version of “Iron Man”

Red Guardian or Alexei Shostakov was also Ronin in the Marvel’s Ultimate universe at one time.

I think the MCU is in a bit of a disarray after the whole Spidey saga with Sony as they had a bit riding on Spidey for the future of the MCU.

Batman Mask of the Phantasm
Its still good, but feels like an extended episode.

Batman & Mr Freeze SubZero
Feels more like a movie then Phantasm.
Plus the blu ray has all the Mr Freeze episodes on. Including the one from Batman Beyond.
