I saw guys bought up Forza 5 on xbox - now selling at double/ triple the price - same as Indiana jones on PS5...

@Dp - its actually been horrific with scalpers - We have to cross check peoples names, addresses and purchase history on niche releases as those guys buy up all the stock and resell at ridiculous prices whch are completely unfair to the normal consumer.

But yes - Pre-orders are on the increase as people realise how limited the physical edition releases of a game can now be.

We do try warn guys when we see limited availablity on new games too.

There seems to be a mass panic in buying physical games lately which is a great breeding ground for scalpers as well. I've seen a couple games release recently that have gone out of stock before release and even older titles which were readily available have all but disappeared and can only be bought at a premium price in the aftermarket. Likely going to see a big increase in pre-orders in upcoming months from people that want to secure physical copies.

Star Trek First Contact
The best of the four TNG movies.
Its got everything, a new ship, the Borg & time travel!

Star Trek Nemesis
Not AS terrible as I remember, but still the worst of the four movies.

Batman The Killing Joke
Not as good as I thought it would be.
The first few minutes with Batgirl, was a waste. & had nothing to do with the comic.

Nothing new. My sisters kids are on holiday and are at an age where they can watch less kiddie things, so I gave them a ton of movies to watch. Got me in the mood for some of it too, so I have been binge watching old franchises over the last few weeks. So far I have done

The Matrix
The Matrix Reloaded
The Matrix Revolutions

Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park: The Lost World
Jurassic Park III
Jurassic World

Watching the newer Marvel stuff at the moment. Found a list of the order in to best watch them.
1. Captain America: The First Avenger
2. Iron Man
3. Iron Man 2 (Watched this one last)
4. The Incredible Hulk
5. Thor
6. The Avengers
7. Iron Man 3
8. Thor: The Dark World
9. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
10. Guardians of the Galaxy
11. Avengers: Age of Ultron
12. Ant-Man
13. Captain America: Civil War

Planning to do Batman, Xmen, Harry Potter, LotR + Hobbit, Pirates of the Caribbean. Maybe a few others that I can't remember off the top of my head right now

Star Trek: Beyond - Avoid it in 3D if you can, it's practically pitch black and for a lot of the scenes you can't see what's happening.

@DG thanks. Was going to go this weekend, but I am a spoilt brat and SK aren't putting it in the Prestige cinemas so will wait for the home release.

American Ultra - Jesse Eisenberg as an action star is just weird. Not a terrible movie, but not amazing. Decent evenings entertainment

Wreck-it-Ralph.

@Magius
I should have waited for the 2D version. I still enjoyed it, but there's many sections in the early part Of the movie where all I could see was the blaster fire in darkness. Ster needs to do something about this.

@DG I have heard, anecdotally, that throughout the world the cinemas set the 3D bulb to lower settings to prolong the life hence the dark showings. DO what I did at Ster for Force Awakens, loudly complain in front of the manager's office, they will quickly come over and give you a voucher and apologise

Independence day Re….whatever [forgot the full name]…why did they actually used actors in this movie?

The move was one long special effect for me…was even waiting for the planes to transform in to robots during the queen battle ala….Robotech…

The movie felt like a cross between Starship Troopers and Robotech….

Batman The Killing Joke…Bad…and that ending?

Maybe we need to send Deadpool to show Batman hoe to solve his problem…Can you imagine a fight between Deadpool and The Joker…It will be so funny…but Joker will be finished after the fight

TMNT Out of the Shadows - Maybe its because my expectation were so low, but I had fun with the film. Is it perfect, absolutely not. Do we need Megan Fox, erm no. Was Stephen Amell good, really no, constipated seems his default expression. The turtles though had distinct personalities which was good.

There was too little Splinter and Krang and Shredder. The science was hokey as hell, but the film was fun and stupid, just what a film about Mutated Turtles who are also Ninjas should be.

Central Intelligence - Really hilarious, so quotable. The Rock is like a big teddy bear.

TMNT Out of the Shadows - I guess the target market here was 6 year olds, but still the biggest pile of nonsense I've ever watched in my life. Maybe as someone who grew up with the original live-action TMNT movie, my expectations were a bit high.

@Snow see I think that this film captured the cartoon perfectly as I always thought the cartoon was nonsense. I started off with the original comic by Eastwood and Laird where they all wore the red bandanas and listened to Master of Puppets so the cartoon is to me what this film is to you

One Piece Gold.
Some things were unneeded but what a fun anime movie this was. At cinema really made the whole experience that much better.

TMNT: Out of The Shadows - What an utter pile of[censored]. Yes, they really respect and love the source material Somewhere in the celluloid wilderness, every turtle version is crying with shame at this desecration.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Was actually quite good.
They took a nice approach to the whole zombie thing. & also added a nice back story.

Saw 1
Never watched these movies before.
Was very good, some VERY nice twists.

Saw 2
Again also good, with some good twists.
"There will be blood"
