DEVS just responded on the DC Forum and said "There are no guarantees that DCUO will be ported to the PS4, at least not in it's 1st year as far as we know", I hope these devs are just being kept in the dark as with DC customers...

Sony apparently said that the current PSN DLC would not be carried over to the PS4 (could someone confirm this pls), this means your DCUO DL will not move over to the PS4

The PS3 still has a long healthy life left, I think it'll be wiser for me to just buy another PS3 and hope 1 - 2 years down the PS4's life, they port DC to it...

I think DCUO not being ported soon is most likely true. I can't see holding back that news as being important enough for a later announcement, or detrimental enough to current sales on PS3 or PC.
Though SOE could probably be waiting to announce it along side Planetside 2 (which I think is most definitely coming to PS4 - if anything, that is priority no 1 for them)

Unfortunately, PSN digital content won't carry over to the PS4 in teh sense that none of the content would actually be playable due to the complete change in hardware. IIt is unfortunate, but the chance in hardware is easily for the best.

Hard to tell right now. i cna assure you (though I cant find the link right now) that Yoshida, of Sony, did say that it is possible for Sony to track every purchase you have made on the PSN store. There is no policy in effect atm for games that are digital and do transfer over to the PS4. You might need ot pay for that, you might not need to

i think the best decision you can make is determine your gaming needs. If you are still heavily PS3 gaming, then no need for a PS4. I say wait for E3 at least and see if there is any DCUO news. I feel it would be mentioned around there.

The psn plus stuff I dont really care about, thats sonys.

But If I have to repurchase all my ps1 classics again, oh hell will I be pissed off.

I care about the PSN+ stuff. I understand that maybe technically the free games won't transfer to the PS4 because of different architecture, but I will be mightily PO'd if in 3 or 4 years they just shut that down even if I still have my PS3 and basically I cannot play the games anymore.

You know what would be amazing? A working PSN store. Sony have the worst online store of any console ever. It's absolutely terrible, slow and laggy.

If we could buy PS3 content from the Vita I would since that store runs 100 times better than the PS3 store. Absolute crap. Hoping this gets changed with the PS4.

Oh good, I thought was only me getting rritated wih the long load times on PSN. I agree inwould love a fastere PSN and not onlynthe ability to purcahse Ps3 content over the Vita, but also over PC

Yeah, the PSN store was better before the ovehaul. The "new" version is painfully slow and annoying to get around.

Lol Vita has more RAM than PS3 afterall and it does make a huge difference just from that. PS4 has much much much more RAM this time around. So im sure it would help for PSN Store. My main thing I also want a My Download system to be change. Hate it when u scroll down to download or redownload a certain content.

You can buy your stuff over the PC for the last few months...

in fact if anyone has an issue with the PSN store (justified) just use your PC. Its such a painless option and pretty much what I have been doing for months now before getting home to download. Of course, if you have psn+ you can have your stuff downloaded after purchase by the time you get home.

@ Woofels...never re-bought a console in my life, upgraded yes, but not re-bought But yeah, I'm an idiot. The problem was (and I'm to blame, no one else), was that there was such positive "feedback" that DCUO would go to the PS4.

Now, I was so far ahead in DC, that the only reason I played most of the time, was to help out the league. So I thought, well, the DC forum seems VERY positive that DC would be moved to PS4, let me sell my PS 3 (the only reason I had a PS was to play DC thb) and by the time the PS4 is released, I'll be a year behind and will need to catch up. So instead of waiting for a Dev to respond, I went on what others assumed, didn't do my home work properly and have now pretty much shot myself in the foot, as I said, my own stupidity no one else. Seeing as it seems DC won't be coming to PS 4, buying a PS3 rather than a PS4 is the way to go.

Besides, should "decent" MMO ever get released on PS4, by that time it'll be a lot cheaper.

@ Magius - DC is on PC, but the amount of time and money I put into DC (PS3) is seriously heavy, to now restart everything is not even an option tbh, besides, I (with the help of 2 others) started one of the best leagues in DC, so I have many friends there as well, they still contact me, when ever I switch my PSV on, I get like several msg's asking when I'm coming back.

I love WoW more than DC by far, but DC was suppose to become my "Casual" MMO, due to it being tiny in comparison to WoW...as I said, my own stupidity lead to this, nothing else. But I have no problem buying another PS3, just can't decide whether I should fork out and get a new one, or just settle with a 2nd hand one.

So accounts aren't accessible between systems? I thought that DCUO actually had cross platform support. Look around like AWX places are having specials on PS3s
