Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

Stupid question...what do these power discs do, and how does it work? I can't right now play the game due to some family agreements But the power discs have come up a few times now, so I just want to know what it is and how it works and if I "must" buy them?

The Power Discs come in blind packs, with two random discs per pack. You can place power discs under your characters on the base, to give them powers or items (some discs are placed in the Playset space instead).

Power discs can be things such as items or vehicles (for the Toybox) Like this, power ups (This one gives bonus loot), side-characters to fight with you (such as Iron Patriot or Ant-Man), or even purely cosmetic.

To answer your other question, they aren't necessary at all. Most are purely for fun, and a few give you a bit of an advantage

EDIT: You can use two round discs per character. For example, I often use Chernabog's Strength (I think it's called?), which has a random chance for me to deal a critical hit. I also can use my Ant-Man Team Up, which has a cooldown, and can be activated by pushing a button on the D-Pad.

Actual Edit I have no idea how to do edits properly apparantly...

Thx mate! Sounds pretty cool! It might not be "needed", but it sounds like something I'll definitely splash some cash on, it seems it can change the gameplay up, which is a good thing, so I'll def get me some power discs

Stock for the traded-in discs varies between stores, but all branches offer the service. The listing found here are the ones currently available in our Randburg branch.

During the Disney Infinity panel at the PlayStation Experience it was announced that Disney Infinity 2.0 will be coming to PlayStation Vita. The Vita edition will feature an Infinity Base that will use Bluetooth, the game will be compatible with PlayStation TV, and the starter pack will feature an exclusive Black Suit Spider-Man figure.

Hey Trevor, have you tried out all of the new Disney Originals yet? Any opinions/favourites?

I'm thinking of grabbing Stitch, and maybe Alladin at some point.

Stitch ftw! Him and Hiro are awesome fun to play with, really looking forward to getting Baymax. I was playing around in the toy box and was really happy to have found an original TRON skyline and theme set, so chucked in some Gravity Falls set pieces and made Stitch fight symbiotes with a lightsaber. Much fun!

I love that cheeky little grin of his!

I'll definitely have to consider adding him to my collection, right next to Rocket. The two little fluffy, experimental, and dangerous furballs.

Oh, and any news on when we can expect the new Power Discs?

One of the more recent updates to the PC version of Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) had included the statue bases (in the Hall of Heroes) for the two characters.

So it's official? That's awesome! The character models look really good.

I never played the original Disney Infinity, so I'm not sure, but do you think that they will add more secret characters like this as time goes on?
