Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

Anyone noticed that the figures of the original game also now got a skill tree?

@ Magius - I don't let my son use the PS4 at all, thus I gave him my PS3, he's a Avengers and DC freak, so I decided to start him off with the Avengers starter pack. I bought the Collectors Edition for myself as it looked way too cool and (imo) very well priced for what you get. He can just use my characters he doesn't have, and as we go forward, i'll buy 4 characters at a time and we can just swop them out as we go.

I'm not sure what it looks like unboxed, my wife doesn't want me to open any of it till his graduation as it'll spoil the surprise I heard it's big, if I can't fit it anywhere in my gaming room as it is now, i'll just buy a display case for it

Ah so there are Daddy's toys and his, nice. If I ever had kids that would also be the case The base is great, looks amazing and is a great way to display t he figures. However the size is a bit of a problem, a nice problem, but a problem.

BTW the game itself is enormous fun, your kid will love it.

Not sure. The only space I had was on the top of a bookshelf so I have't switched it on as you cannot see the full effects where it sits. FWP

I seem to recall reading on the instructions that the base will glow for around 15 minutes before shutting down.

Bought another power disc pack today, and got the Hulk Gamma Rays costume. Looks like I now have an excuse to get the Hulk figurine when it comes out

Also, thanks Trevor for pointing out that Android app. It's pretty cool.

@ Magius - Yeah, he really looks after his PS3, he forgets every now and again to charge his remotes. The PS3 has 3 remotes, so I secretly charge one for him and when his controls both go flat, I let him suffer first, so he can learn, I then tell him that the PS4 charges PS3 controls immediately lol, I swop one without him knowing...he quickly gets another control on charge hahaha! But it only goes like that for a few days and he forgets again I'm still very young at heart, so my toys STAYS MINE It also keeps us from arguing with one another if we have our own

@ Sandman - Thus I gave him a PS3 and bought myself a PS4, else I'd be in the same boat as you

Finally I've found some more Infinity fan's!!

You can add 2 power discs onto a Character (round ones) and up to 3 of the purple/orange toy or customization discs at a time.

Does anybody here have duplicates for trade?

Trevor is setting up a trading system on the website for those of us who want to trade. Spoke to him Sunday about it as I bought to sets and had two dupes.
