Ironic thing. There is going to be an album for GTA6. And it will be available on both CD and Vinyl.

So clearly it's about control for Sony and Rockstar, not wanting you to own games. But you can own a CD and Vinyl. Both are crappy companies. I really want to see Sony crash and burn so hard. But the way Sony is going, it might be sooner, rather than later.

In 2015, the gaming world was reintroduced the the hugely successful and popular Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series through the highly anticipated Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. Sadly, the release was mostly botched, maligned for its barebones content, uninspired gameplay, and terrible graphics. It wasn't exactly the legacy title that fans expected from a series as praised as Pro Skater, ending this franchise - and seemingly Tony Hawk's career in gaming - on a weak note. Or so we thought, as a professional skateboarder may have accidentally let slip the existence of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 6.

Speaking with " class="general_link" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" >The Nine Club, professional skateboarder Jason Dill accidentally revealed, "do you guys know that there's a new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater coming out in 2020?". He goes on to state that they (presumably Activision) wanted to add his skateboard to the selection of boards you can choose from in the game. It seems like this was a slip of the tongue by Dill, as the game hasn't officially been revealed yet in any capacity - with signs pointing to it either being unveiled at Inside Xbox this Thursday, or the future PS5 reveal event.

It's interesting that Activision are moving forward on a sixth entry in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series, considering the bad reception of the previous entry. We're hoping that with the next game, they can bring the series back to its roots and align more with the style and tone of its older predecessors than the fifth installment. That hopefully means a stronger focus on clever unlockables, an addictive gameplay loop, an infectious punk/rock soundtrack, and all the tiny details that made the original Pro Skater series so great.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 6 is apparently in development, and might launch on next-gen consoles.
