The Crew 2 Getting a Closed PC Alpha
It has been quite some time since racing video game fans got their first look at Ubisoft’s new The Crew 2. What makes the game interesting is the new addition of boats, helicopters, and planes. Some will be able to get their hands on the title a little early, as the publisher and developer’s closed alpha for the game starts on PC, March 14-19.
According to ResetEra, an image was shared regarding a “closed alpha guide” image from Ubisoft. Within the image, there is a guide as to the confidentiality of the alpha as well as a reminder as to when the event starts. Players taking part in the trial will be able to try out multiple events through Uplay PC only, and it will include the full map, customisation features, as well as the various types of vehicles you will get in the game.
Fans shouldn’t be expecting any footage from the alpha build as users who undergo the trial have to go under a non-disclosure agreement(NDA). However, expect some to break this agreement and leak some video footage of the title’s gameplay.
With the alpha starting soon, it stands to reason that the racing title could eventually have an open beta. Until then, fans will have to deal with what we have on offer at the moment.
