Spyro Reignited Trilogy - Spyro The Dragon Launch Trailer
Ahead of its November 13 release, Activision has released a launch trailer for their upcoming remastered trilogy of the beloved Spyro the Dragon series, Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Watch the trailer below:
The trailer takes us back to the colourful world of the Spyro video games on the original PlayStation, this time with a much more polished look; graphics built from the ground up while retaining that core Spyro gameplay that we've all come to know and love. The nostalgic gamer in me feels pleased with its aesthetic, though we'll have to wait and see how it plays.
In case you missed it, you can read Shelly's hands-on impressions of Spyro Reignited Trilogy from rAge Expo 2018 - it's a great slice of nostalgic pie, albeit with some questionably dated controls, personally. There's a lot riding on the package to be as great as Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which released last year. Let's hope it delivers on the nostalgia while giving us something fresh in terms of visuals.
