Because a bunch of fat Americans can't stand up and change a disc (which takes seconds), we are being forced into a no ownership future.

Statistics don't lie. Physical games are still very very healthy outside of America. It's doing great in Europe and even more so Asia.

People don't hate Americans enough

Sony has become quite the douchebag company to be honest. Sony has become your typical fat American company

Yep, has a disclaimer on the boaxart that the disc needs an update to version 2.0 and you need a PS account before it can be redeemed, so it's not even a reprinted disc, same version as launch.

Monster Hunter World G-Rank Wishlist: Brachydios

by Keegan Govender on 28 February, 2018

A master of the fisticuffs, the brawler Brachydios is a Brute Wyvern that uppercuts its way into my heart. A boxer-inspired Wyvern that seems like it knows a thing or two about bobbing and weaving. One can argue that the monster has a dull appearance, but I wouldn’t honestly call a monster with glowing fists dull. Yes, it pales in comparison to other more "out there" designs, but the Brachydios' humble design is where the intimidation lays. This is a no questions asked, 'I’m here to chew gum and kill hunters and I’m all out of a gum' type of monster.

Being the first monster in the series to come with blast damage as an element known as “Slime” at the time, Brachydios holds some heritage as well. Identified by the green-slime covered horns and obsidian plates and ridges, Brachydios is unique in design. Sporting a pair of long highly developed forelimbs that it uses as its primary means of defense. Brachydios’ forelimbs and horns have a party trick too, they secrete a slime that when mixed with its saliva, explode, taking packing a punch to a whole new level.

In Brachydios’ enraged state, it will no longer leave slime puddles, but will instead cause explosions directly on impact. You can tell that the monster is enraged when its arms glow a bright yellow and orange - oh, and the fact that it wants to kill you.

We start the selection of beautiful non-subspecies with the Raging Brachydios. A monster that needs no introduction into its behaviour, he's the big daddy of the Brachydios. A noticeably larger variant of the Brute Wyvern and hence much slower, Raging Brachydios sports a green shell with yellow-orange slime mould on his forelimbs, head, back, and tail that also turns red when enraged.

He also uses an unusual method of slime mould on certain parts of its body in order to cause explosions as a prevention method. This means any hunter trying to attack the monster in close proximity is bound to take a hit to their HP. Slime puddles formed will also explode at a much faster rate than that of a regular Brachydios. If you were a kid being bullied in school, it would be wise to have a dad like Raging Brachydios.

Evangelion Brachydios, yes you heard me right, the otaku cousin of the Brachydios enters the scene in an Evangelion Unit-01 inspired get up. Unlike their relatives, Evangelion Brachydios have two green tipped plates on their backs, paired with robotic-like forearms, a green spiked chin, a robotic-like horn, and most noticeably a chopped tail.

When enraged, everything green will turn red and the tail will don flaming tip. Evangelion Brachydios can do anything the other relatives can do, only better. How do you make a punching behemoth with explosive damage better you ask? Well, you add fire of course. What makes the Evangelion Brachydios interesting is that it will rise up a second time if a hunter kills it, only this time much more powerful in order to finish the job that they started.

What would be a more deadly pair than two opposites coinciding with one another? Nothing, that’s what. Iceblast Brachydios, a truly unique species that looks so cool you almost forget how deadly the monster is. There are four flame-like ice spikes on it that contain red slime mould inside them. You, as a hunter, are tasked with defeating a monster that has flaming ice spikes which produce explosions. I am daydreaming at the thought of seeing this monster walk up to me in Monster Hunter World.

The unique ways in which the Iceblast Brachydios uses its traits are truly a challenge to hunters facing it. When an Iceblast Brachydios roars, it will cover the ground in ice and spawn giant spikes which have explosive slime in them. If you’re the type of person who finds this monster to be too easy then you will be happy to know that its slime can also spawn ice spikes when it explodes on the ground.

A truly formidable foe that would cause any hunter to proceed with caution when heading on a quest with this Brute Wyvern in the mix. The armour set that comes with Brachydios would surely make you wish this monster was coming to World, if the Brute Wyvern hasn’t peaked your interest already.
