Mark Hamill Wants to Join Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
A fan reached out to Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn on Twitter, asking for Star Wars actor Mark Hamill to be included in the third Guardians of the Galaxy film. He got a swift response from both Gunn and Hamill himself, who expressed a lot of interest in the idea.
After Gunn responded to the fan, IanFee, with “Haha let’s do it”, Hamill responded to Gunn’s suggestion by replying with “DM me for my contact info if you’re serious (& a good neighbour), xoxo, mh”. While this could be taken as a simple joke, it also doesn’t confirm that Hamill will be included in the Marvel Cinematic Universe anytime soon, as Gunn has probably prepped a script already for the third film.
On the contrary, having the great Mark Hamill grace the MCU would certainly be awesome, and I don’t doubt that it is still a huge possibility. He might not appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but the door seems to be open for him in any other role.
