Ironic thing. There is going to be an album for GTA6. And it will be available on both CD and Vinyl.

So clearly it's about control for Sony and Rockstar, not wanting you to own games. But you can own a CD and Vinyl. Both are crappy companies. I really want to see Sony crash and burn so hard. But the way Sony is going, it might be sooner, rather than later.

I got hooked on Day Z. Been running the servers with a regular group. We tried a few hardcore servers and it was hardcore… We now back on a relaxed server just doing airdrops and PVP battled to get mainly nails and metal sheets to complete our base.

Been tooling around in Elden Ring. Really have no plan of action, this picking a direction and getting lost (and killed). The variety of weird &%&^)^ you see around every turn is entertaining. Wish there was a bit more... dunno direction? in the story. Keep forgetting half my inventory, last night I ended up with a massive 250000+ cash injection because I just forgot I had runes

Demons Souls - Man, so glad I get to play this, although many years after it's original release (2009). Completing an area in this game gives me the same satisfaction Dark Souls 1 gave me, it's a true challenge, the game seriously punishes mistakes and rushing gameplay, the way it should be in Souls games. I need to put it down for now though, I need to finish Elden Ring 1st as the strategy in ER is throwing off the strategy needed for DS.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart - Once again Ratchet and Clank does not disappoint. What a magnificent game so far, I'm about 50% in. Graphics is just out of this world, gameplay is as smooth as ever, new weapons are so much fun and this game truly show cases what the Dual Sense Controller is capable of, which makes the game so much more immersive and fun to play. Only Gripe I have, I wish Rivet played a bit different to Ratchet, other than that, I highly recommend anyone to play this.

Zelda Breath of the wild on Switch
So its been 15hours of exploring and side questing and relaxing and getting killed and going back for revenge... Still not at the Zora domain. Only met the prince recently but wow! This is great!

When the weapon system is a pain at first, not now, its amazing to work with! Looking forward to another 500 hours.

A few years late to the game but Damn, its good!

Tales of Arise - Game looks nice and crisp, so far enjoying the combat and animation, keen to see how it progresses.

DCUO - Sheesh...been a while, started playing this again on Friday after a very long break. This game needs a serious visual upgrade, looks exactly the same as it did at launch. Game has also become a SERIOUS Pay To Win MMO. In saying that, you don't need to buy anything, my mates dragged me through a bit of content and by last night I'm 7 levels off the top tier. Still one of the better MMO's to play on console, not too serious and if you know the right people, the game can still be quite fun.

Horizon Zero Dawn - Combat is so smooth in this game and visually, even for a PS4 game, it's stunning! I just don't know where I stand with this game yet. I definitely don't dislike the game, but I'm just not sure if I truly enjoy it either. I'm now giving a little less attention to the side quests and focusing more on the story, hoping it'll get better.

Horizon Forbidden West - Having come straight off Zero Dawn i cannot believe how different the game already feels, and in a good way. They've kept many things the same but changed enough to make the game feel "new". Also, this games visuals are by far the most impressive I have ever seen in a game, it truly is breath taking.

One Piece Pirate Warrior 4 - PS4

YES please! One of the most fun Muso style games. Between this and the Zelda one, best Muso Spins! Persona Strikers has a special place on its own!

Square Square Triangle has never been this much fun!

Outward: Definitive Edition

Absolutely my kind of Eurojank RPG with lots of systems to juggle, AI behaviours to exploit, and a focus on actual exploration rather than cinematic restrictions. Unfortunately, the current-gen versions seem to run at an uncapped framerate with no v-sync, so until there's a patch you get non-stop full-screen tearing like back in the early X360/PS3 generation.

The Hand of Merlin

A cool indie roguelike-RPG. Wouldn't normally be my thing but they cram in a ton of complexity in runs that are 3-4 hours long (if you survive) with the premise being you're saving worlds in the multiverse at the behest of Merlin, so sort of singular god-like figure. It's a mix of overworld node-by-node traversal across 4 regions, choice-driven narrative encounters, and turn-based combat. Doesn't always handle that well with a gamepad though.

Fall Guys - Switch
OK! so this is where this game should of launched! This game is such a fun little time waster and fits so nicely on the Switch.
Also going Free to Play is a great move and still shows what a small indie game can do! One thing you have to give Devolver Digital is they really have fun games to bring us.

Started to play Elden Ring, I was looking for a Skyrim experience…Was I wrong… this game is brutal and hard… Just hate that black screen say – “You died”… been getting more than I like.

Diablo Immortal… yeah I was excited… then I worked it out it to finish the game, I will need a home loan for the endgame equipment…

The Shadowrun Trilogy (the console release on Xbox Series S but it's also on the last-gen consoles)

Enjoyable cRPG/turn-based combat games based loosely on the table-top games. What I love most about them is they move at such a brisk pace. Shadowrun Returns is like 10 hours long, the other 2 around 20 hours, but they're packed with all you want from an RPG. You're getting new skills and gear every mission, almost every investigation or dialogue encounter has multiple attribute/skill checks, and turn-based combat involves quick, intense battles.

The first game has a finale that's just a combat slog, and there are some minor pathfinding/responsiveness issues when exploring out of combat, but they offer a cool setting, interesting plots, and a lot of RPGing in short bursts.

Crysis Remastered

This game still has some classic sandbox combat moments and I'm amazed at how much you can stealth through. It also looks unexpectedly modern at times with the ray-traced visual options but damn, it's aged badly overall. Even with the return of the Ascencion level (cut from the X360/PS3 release as it was too CPU intensive), the quality goes downhill from the moment you enter the alien ship and it becomes a linear slog to the end. People who complained about Crysis 2 being scaled down and redesigned for console clearly forgot this half the game.

Bayonetta 3 - Must play game, I've barely touched any games this year but this game reignited my passion again for gaming, doesn't take itself seriously and just delivers and fun gameplay and over the top action, just what a video game should be.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - about to start it if I can drag myself away from Bayonetta 3 for a bit
