The regular updates are usually in the 250mb range, but the full update is about 1.9GB. IF YOU MISS ONE UPDATE YOU WILL HAVE TO DO THE FULL UPDATE.

So don't miss an update

@Morschee frustrating issue. Same as Steam on PC, you can only go offline when connected, so if your connection goes down you have to wait for it to come up again or use your cell. Very irritating,

A quick question, anyone have a problem with the controller losing connection to the console. This happens to me every 5 to ten minutes while playing. The controller just disconnects. I move it around a bit and it reconnects, but this is a very irritating issue. MY XB1 is in my TV unit (Solid wood) but it isn't filly enclosed as the front door is always open for a little bit or airflow. This never happens on with teh PS4

You update you controller software yet? It was supposed to be sorted in that. I never had that problem though.

Have 2 controllers that I use and have not had any disconnect issues whether I am playing for 30 minutes or a few hours.

Is that specific update for the controller or was that a general system update? I haven't connected my controllers by wire to the console since I bought it last year and when I clipped in the headset it did a firmware update.

Will plug them in tonight and see if there is a firmware update specific to teh controllers

Yeah...I remember there being a controller update, might be wrong, but I'm sure I remember something like that. I have also never had any issues with my controllers

@Morschee I agree it is stupid, but is another form of DRM at least on STeam. It's to ensure that you don't log in on you buddy's PC, DL your library then disconnect and go offline so that he can play your games.
