Still only rumour for now, but of true this is pretty good.

Lazygamer is reporting that next month's Games for Gold will be, Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider for the 360 and Rayman Legends for the XB1. If true those are pretty damn impressive "free" games!

Microsoft has cut the annual cost of an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Instead of paying the usual fee of $60 a year, you can become an Xbox Live Gold member for $40. The fine print doesn't indicate whether this is a temporary promotion and, if so, when the sale might end.

We knew that Win10 would allow games to stream between PC and XB1, but this Crossbuy idea is pretty cool. Don't think that Halo 5 will allow you to use a KB+mouse easily though

How so? I guess my post wasn't clear, but this is a cross buy scheme so if the game comes out on PC and XB1 if you buy one you get the other free. The biggest issue there is if the XB1 version is $60 and the PC one is $50, so I am sure we will see price parity between the versions now.

As for the streaming, that's what it is streaming. You have to have the XB1 to stream from onto a Win10 system and probably vice versa.

So...decided I wanted to play some Halo MCC yesterday...only to realise that I can't as I cannot sign in due to me not having internet at this stage. Is there a way around this?

Go to settings from the menu button and select go offline.

^^Doesn't work, already tried that...I saw on another forum someone says you can only do that when connected to the internet. When not connected and selecting "go offline", it won't work.

Don't know then I play my games offline, even had tournaments with the machine offline never had issues with it. Probably the way the account or user has been setup. Like a Primary/Secondary account on PS4 does the same thing.

Yeah...apparently that setting can only be turned on when you have an internet connection ie, scenario's:

1.) I am connected and then select "go offline", then after that I can disconnect my internet and carry on playing offline.

2.) I had internet and then moved and now have no internet, now when I turn on my Xbox and put a game in, it says "This xbox needs to be connected to the internet to play games, please connect to the internet and sign in". Now, when I go into settings and select "go offline" it doesn't take affect, it's almost like the X1 has to tell a server to set it to offline mode or something. Still not a 100% sure, but this is the answer I seem to get 90% of the time

Last one was 6.2.12130.0 (Feb), the screen shot one is still beta.

I've never had a 2gb update, all of mine are always around 250mb.
