I cant see it coming out that soon. But then again, Sony probably wants to beat Microsoft & get theres out first.

I find it so hard to believe that these people can't give an actual release date, especially if the console is getting released 2-3 months before it actually launches.

Hey can they not know or not have released anything by now? It's very worrying as a consumer as well.

that is exactly what they are doing. Gamescom in just over a week we will know the official date. Why would Sony announce such important information at any other time?

its a date around what most ppl have been speculating since E3.

Sony seem to be stocking up on PS4's since July. So they should easily have stock.

The PlayStation 4 console will be arriving in South Africa in December, and hopefully in time for a 6 December launch. The expected price is being pegged at R6,299.

Mario Dos Santos, Chief Executive Officer of Ster Kinekor Entertainment, said in a press statement that he is confident the PS4 will arrive in South Africa before Christmas.

Let's be honest, the rate isn't going to markedly improve by year end, we are still looking at R10:$1.

True - SA Sony stocks are bought in Euro's though. I kno wthey ar etrying for a target of 5999 but with the currently exchange instability we just have to wait and see
