Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

Don't think I died once playing the Witcher 2 so can't say it will be much of a challenge if you go by that, especially since the Witcher 2 is hailed as a difficult game for some reason.

I agree with DP, I got through The Witcher 2 on Dark Mode without too much challenge. Using the "Riposte" skill and the "Quen" sign could get you through most battles if you were patient. Both The Witcher 1 and 2 can be tough in the beginning but your character can quickly over-level. Both previous games just got easier as you play.

I'm not a fan of perma-death but I'd like to see a hard mode which makes use of the new "pirouette" dodge, focusing on completely avoiding strikes and making any hits cause massive damage to both player and opponent.

IGN plays through the 1st 15-min of the game - there's no intro and not much in the way of spoilers we haven't seen in trailers or previews so it's safe to watch. They deviate off into the wilderness at the half way mark which shows the fast travel, combat, death and inventory management.

Less than 2 month's left to go!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red has revealed two major expansions to its upcoming fantasy RPG.

Hearts of Stone is pegged to be the shorter of the two expansions with a roughly 10-hour playtime. Set in the wilds of No Man's Land and Oxenfurt, series stalwart Geralt of Rivia will get roped into a contract with a mysterious figure called the Man of Glass. Out Oct 2015

Blood and Wine is slated to be the larger adventure with an estimated playtime of 20 hours. This will be set in the all new region of Toussaint, a supposedly peaceful land hiding a dark secret. Out Q1 2016

The PS4 build runs just fine apparently. And looks better. And I have a PC rig more than capable of running 1080P Almost Max and get 60FPS. But I prefer playing it on console. Better image quality and good framerate = PS4 for consoles.

I do own an xbox one. But I'll get it for PS4. So should you....wait...

I'd suggest you also find a summary or wiki page discussing the 5 main books as the character Ciri barely get's a mention in the previous games. She is essentially the primary character in the books and has a massive conspiracy/prophecy around her that ties into events seen right at the end of the 1st game and something I guess will feature heavily in the 3rd game.

No one has explicitly stated it (just like what happened with Destiny), but theres probably a marketing deal between Microsoft and CDProjekt for the console versions - check out the list of tweet responses by the CDProjekts senior game designer and scroll down to the reply on the lack of PS4 gameplay - http://www.dualshockers.com/2015/03/29/the-witcher-3-gets-tons-of-new-info-dont-worry-about-the-ps4-version-could-last-over-200-hours/

LOL Lurch - that was just some friendly trolling of the good nature kind.

We all know it's going to be great on PS4.

A much needed better dodge mechanic, they better release a patch for her to be fully playable, brings some life to the dull combat and looks awesome.

Embedded in the Eurogamer page is the archived GoG twitch stream with the developers and a Q&A session afterwards. It's spoiler free and pretty good at showing how you can approach combat focused on either swordplay, alchemy and signs.

A bit of gameplay from the PS4 version - looks good. Not as good as what we've seen on PC but I don't think anyone will be complaining. CD Projekt did a great job with The Witcher 2 on Xbox 360 and I expect they'll do the same with the current gen console ports.
