@VectorTwoSix isn't it sold out completely in Europe ?

Yeah, it's quite sad.
Still deciding what to do.
@VectorTwoSix did you find a store in Europe that has stock?

Steelbooks sadly got lost. I'm headed to Europe next week so I'll just pick it up there.

What news is this about Control @VectorTwoSix?

I really feel bad for @Tea and the rest of Nexus staff. Can't think that delays are nice for them. Especially the great lengths NexusHub goes to, to get these physical releases for us.

I'm just grateful that NexusHub manages to get hold of these niche titles that I love so much. We'd be screwed otherwise

Just saw the news about Control Resonant - really sad, but that's the state of SA shipping I guess.

What does this alternate version look like exactly?

Sony's decisions has slowly eroded my faith in the company but there's not much recourse given the state of tech these days. I'm likely riding the PS5 gen into the sunset because PC parts keep going up and up and the PS6 is definitely going to have a disgusting price tag. So I'm mostly just enjoying games where I can. I'm not buying GTA6 but I did buy Phantom Blade and I'll likely double dip for the physical.

Not to say people shouldn't vote with their wallets, because that's ultimately what everyone should do. But at this point in time, I'm more worried about AI. I don't think I can even care about Sony lol

@Haseo

I think Sony is going to get a reality check. They know that physical stills sells very well outside of America the Land of the Fat.

Putting all their eggs in 1 basket with the American market is going to blow up in their faces. I have quite the choice words on how I feel about Sony.

But I am sure @Tea will have a heart attack reading what I would post on the chatbox. But Sony has lost my business forever.

But we'll see what the NO PHYSICAL NO BUY guys do when GTA6 release day comes. I bet most of them will be the hypocrites they are and buy it.

@KnightFall500

What I can tell you is that Hellraiser Revival became on of my favourite games so far I've played this year. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. I liked it so much that I replayed it straight after finishing it.

@Cathal Think some ppl are going to get a big surprise.
& rumors are that when the online mode does hit, it will cost extra to play.

MvC3 - 86% of the trophies completed, oddly enough I still need to get the perform a team areal counter then the rest are just online and the last mission trophy.

Although the platinum will have to wait for a while cause tonight I will start learning to play the game

@ Posty Awesome game if you play it on it's hardest level (Can't remember what it's called). It's bit to easy on the medium setting, but I loved it, good game, also lacks a bit of action now and again, you run and do nothing sometimes, they could really have added more demons and stuff, apart from that it was a good fun hack and slash game.

DCUO, damn the new update is amazing...found the new Valentines mission a bit pathetic, but hey, this game drips with AWESOMENESS so doing that mission wasn't too bad, just glad it's over lol!!!

@Magius - "A quick DA2 Demo (PC) review"

Quick side note - Has anyone checked out the PS3 and Xbox 360 demos yet? Is the Xbox getting screwed again in the textures department?

A few questions:
- Do skill trees allow you to bypass skills this time?
- Can you still pause and only stack up one command?
- Can you still customize allies using the condition-target-action script?
- While customization of your race/looks are limited do the dialogue choices at least contrast well? I found in ME2 even choosing the paragon options would make Shepard sound like a smarmy d!ck in places unlike ME1 where personalities were better defined.
- And finally do you know if there's still an option for a ranger character? I'll be bleak if this is the first Black-Ilse\Bioware RPG I've played over the last decade without an animal companion.

@Morschee
Coming out of Dante's Inferno I was running in head first trying to cut people like i knew them;
Need to get used to the combat which is alot slower and move towards an adventure mindset but im liking it, i didnt think much of the style and look of the game a year ago but i was really enjoying myself lastnight.

Going to try for at least 80% trophys before the end of the weekend.

Just jammed one HoN last night via matchmaking. Did pretty well, ended up with the highest number of assists out of everyone.
Kept getting kills stolen though so the numbers could've been different

Hey man,

- The skill tree looks like you can choose which way to go. So if you want, let's say rapid shot instead of pinning shot (archery) yo can choose that, but some skills require a prior skill. So Pinning shot is a prerequisite for another skill. Basically they have just cleaned up the previous skill tree to make it flow a bit better.
-When I played, it only seemed you stack one ability/command at a time. I think this is to make the game more action orientated. But I am not 100% sure so will check tonight and get back to you. I had actually forgot about that from KOTOR.
-It seems that they did do a better job with the dialog in matching tone with the choice, but the demo doesn't go into that much detail, at least the few minutes I played.
-Your options are limited to the classes of DA:O so fighter, Mage, Rogue. The Fighter and Mage can be customised to use ranged attacks and probably the other Ranger skills such as tracking etc and the Mage does double duty as a healer (cleric), spellcaster. I don't think that there are animal companions, except the Mabari Wardog that they will unlock if they get 1m demo downloads. But that is not a companion the way you want it as it then takes up a character slot in your party.

IMO this game, like ME2, is more an action game with RPG elements. For some reason Bioware seems to think that RPGs as we knew them just won't sell anymore. I always though that Bioware's compromise between real time and turn based using the pause function was perfect, too bad they seem to think that, that is not what is wanted or worthwhile anymore.

^^ I honestly prefer the 'action game with RPG elements' approach that Bioware has with ME2, and apparently, DA2. I'm looking forward to it even more now

@Tempest To each his own I guess. Having grown up playing AD&D and the old Goldbox games I prefer the old system. I still enjoyed DA:O, but more for the story and the quests rather than the mechanics. The same with ME2. I will still enjoy DA2, it just coulda been so much more IMO.

@Lurch OK Party control is still there, so I was just been silly last night. And no stacking of commands. Each click just overrides the previous command.

@MagiuS: I never played AD&D I've played Neverwinter Nights though, which uses D&D rules. I just like action RPGs more than 'traditional' RPGs nowadays.

Bulletstorm. Game is a lot of fun, graphics are good. Just don't try to take it to seriously.
One of your weapons is a giant remote controlled Godzilla :-D
The male lead is suspiciously similiar to Logan(Wolverine) same look, same attitude.
I think MP may just be a blast, depending on how powerful your lease is

Yeah, it was awesome. The lead guy sings songs to it and shouts things like "destroy them, my pet! Bwahahahahah!"

P.S. He really is a prat...

I can see why you say don't take it seriously, sounds like one of those brainless run, smash and shoot the crap out of each other, which can be fun when the time is right. I might just get it sometime in the future, when it's a lot cheaper.

MvC3 - Arcade mode, running through very hard to get character titles because the online community in this is pathetic, not one SA lobby or ranked match around
