Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

How much would "free delivery for orders over R 1000" affect your decision to more purchases from Nexus Hub?

It really depends which direction you pick. I found my first werewolf and vampires. My Brother was all "Werewolf? WTF?"

I see where the whole 100 hour playtime boast comes in...

16 hours in now and absolutely loving this game!
I was a little worried that they were completely getting rid of the class system, but the game works well without it. It has always been so annoying in games like this one where you feel restricted to a certain play style because of your class.

No Werewolves or vampires for me either. I have seen 3 dragons and only killed 2 because the one didn’t want to come down and fight me (guess it was too scared ). I like the addition of the new jobs/trade skills. I randomly found a mineral vein in a cave that I was able to mine, but I don’t know how to find more of them or how they look like really.

One weird thing that happened to me:
Was traveling to the Throat of the World, looking for the shout power. Came across three elves travelling together. They just said they where on a quest and I need to leave. I go the other way and forget about them. Half an hour later I'm walking around a nearby village, when two of the elves literally drop out of the sky and land on a nearby roof. Dead as doornails...

I'm guesing they got whacked by a giant up in the mountains. I prompty stole their kit. Some nice elven gear

@teb - there is a winding path on the right hand side of the mountain. Village, bridge, path.

This might help - You can buy a spell called Clairvoyance from the wizard at Whiterun. Using it will show you a path to your selected quest.

This game has to many parts I'm forgetting exist.
Ran around looking for health, when I suddenly go:" Wait... can't I just create potions?"

Don’t feel bad Teb. I went all around the north side of the mountain trying to find a way up. Got fed up, went back to the town and got the spell only to find that the path was South and not North Got some quests done on the way so it wasn't all bad

One thing I'm wondering though that I don't think anyone has asked yet.

What I do for potions is I eat the ingredients once to find out one their properties and then match 2 of the ingredients to each other based on this property and add the third ingredient which is not matched to the other 2. This usually reveals the other properties of these ingredients. Then you can match all three ingredients that have the same property like Restore Health to make a non minor potion. At least this is how I have found it to work.
