Holmes and Watson - I enjoyed it. Guess you have to be a Will Ferrell and John C Reilly fan though.

Wandering Earth (Netflix) - Chinese show they can do vacuous, nonsensical and mildly xenophobic big budget CGI trash just as badly as Hollywood.

Awesome!
Did not like the look of the Turtles at first, but they grow on you.
& lots of blood, but then again this is DC

Justice League vs the Fatal Five
Loved the old school look & voice actors from the original shows!!
Otherwise it was okay. Also bloody...DC *shivers*

Platoon
Gritty Vietnam war movie, with a lot of familiar faces.

Masters of the Universe
Does not have much or anything in common with the cartoon.
They had a planned sequel, & it would have been even worse then the first. If you can believe that. But the first was a major flop, so thankfully we never had to watch the sequel!
What always gets me is the opening credits. The music & the opening is almost identical to the old Superman movies.

When we first met - Just funny, charming and gives warm fuzzy feelings.

Alone In The Dark 2 -

Shaft - was ok fell asleep and finished it the next day

Shazam. Was good fun. Not a good movie per say, but fun. Lots of plot holes and questions. Worth a watch and a laugh

Bad Times at the El Royale
Good movie, if a bit long. Has a nice Tarantino vibe to it.
Chris Hemsworth did a good Charles Manson, sorry...Billy Lee

Still a great movie, the effects have held up very well.

The Unauthorized Bash Brothers Experience - Lonely Island short film. Excellent
Anima - Thom Yorke/PT Anderson short.
Shaft (2019) - I enjoyed it but millennials may take offence as most of the jokes are at their expense.
Constantine (again) - still a good film, made even better this time as I noticed he drinks Ardbeg Islay Whisky.

Detective Pikachu – Enjoyed the movie so much I started playing Pokemon Go again…I want a Pokemon…just loved Psyduck

Johnny English Strikes Back – had a few good laughs.

Bedknobs and Broomsticks – 1961 Disney movie, was looking for the movie for a very very long time. Still good after all these years

Spiderman Far from home…A “relaxing” Marvel movie after the Infinity War and Endgame movies…however, Marvel drops a MASSIVE shocker in the end credits…WOW! So now we know what to expect in the next phase of the Marvel movies…

Spider-Man Far From Home - Very, very good. Awesome action and great work on the character of Peter. Disappointingly they gloss over the "snap" and the "blip" (what they are calling the lost 5 years and re-emergence of all those people). The world just seems to carry on as if nothing happened. Some nice, nice callbacks, surprising stuff really. And like Bob Said both credits scenes (mid- and post) are pretty freaking cool and important. The last one is turning something around from the comics and a clue is dropped in a passing comment during the film. Take that and the post-credits scene together and an educated guess as to what an upcoming storyline is, makes sense.
