Logan…Was ok…since the made it a R rated movie, the movie lost its superhero feel…felt like I watched a Vegas based gangster movie alla Lock Stock and Two smoking barrels.

No mid credit scenes and no end credit scenes…

Just an awesome cameo done on the original Superman score (for me the best part of the entire movie…)

Logan - excellent.

LOgan - Not a comic book movie, but more a modern Western. Be that as it may, its jumped to the top of my list of favourite comic book films. Pierce was suitably evil, Logan suitably broken and in need of redemption. Best ending to Wolverine's story ever and a fitting tribute to both him and Charles. It is slow, be aware, but so well done that I didn't mind the almost 2.5 hour run time.

DC take note this is how you do a film about a hero who is morally complex, has dark undertones and is seeking redemption. It starts with the right freaking character.

Moana – was a fun movie…two things that I enjoyed…first that crazy chicken and Dwayne Johnson singing…

Max Steele – This movie was 145 mins and here is a summery…First 30 minutes of the movie, Max is scared and sulking about his new found power…second 30 minutes of the movie…Max meets Steele and is scared of Steele, hiding and sulking…then the aliens show us and for the next 30 minutes Max is hiding , sulking and being scared of the aliens…then the last 15 minutes me gets his suit and again he is scared and sulking… And how stupid was that “stealth / water “ scene…
Mattel must stick to making toys, not movies…

Forest Gump…finally got the Blu Ray edition…still one of the most amazing movies I ever seen.

Angry Birds
Thought this was just a cash in, but turned out really good. Some good music choices as well.

Berserk The Golden Age Arc
Pretty much covers the original anime from years back. But with a bit more detail.
It says "This is just the beginning" at the end.
Heres hoping for another movie set, & not meaning "Go read the manga". WAY to far behind to catch up now.

The Death of "Superman Lives" What Happened?
Jon Peters, wow, this guy lol
Kevin Smith wrote the first script. But when Tim Burton came on, he told Smith to hit the bricks. Only keeping the new name, "Superman Reborn".
Movie would have started with Superman dies at the hands of Doomsday. Then coming back, in what looked liked a similar costume to Superman Blue. The "S" symbol on his chest, would have come apart as blades to use. Maybe even merging with his robot buddy "K" from Krypton, to form armor. Then going to the "origin" custom. Where his cape would have also been a weapon. Jon LOL
Then Brainiac would have been the main villain. Actually did not look to bad.
Nicolas Cage as Superman. The idea sounds stupid, but so did Michael Keaton as Batman. & he was the best Batman to date.
Would Cage have done a good Superman? Probably not, but we will never really know. That famous pic of him in that awful Superman suit was not the final product. He actually looked half way decent in the final suit.
It would have been a very dark & different Superman movie. But I think we dodged a bullet there lol

Logan. It was a good movie, still feel like I'm processing a lot of it. Good send off for Hugh Jackman and Patrick Steward. Dafne Keen has my vote for next Wolverine (in the far future).

Don't Kill It.

Kong: Skull Island - Pretty good. There's a post-credits scene, that I missed, which apparently sets up the Vs. monsters series and the tie-in to Godzilla.

John Wick 2 - Pretty awesome. All the beautiful violence.

John Wick 2 - was quite good, not sure if it was just me, but Keanu's acting was sub par for me and very noticeable?

Apocalypse Now
First time I've sat & watched the whole movie. This was the Redux/Extended Cut.
Martin Sheen, Harrison Ford, Laurence "Larry" Fishburne. They all look so young in this movie, took a while to recognize them lol
The first half was good, the second half was very drawn out. But I think thats because of the Redux version.

Scarface
Got my Blu Ray cheap. Still a CLASSIC, AWESOME movie!

Jack Reacher Never Go Back
More like Never Watch this Again
POINTLESS sequel. SUPER predictable. & some of the goings on was just dumb.
Stay away!

Dead Sushi - Martial arts. Zombies. An axe wielding Tuna-man. Flying killer sushi. Thank you Japan.

xXx: Return of Xander Cage - So much

Logan

I feel like if you watched it not knowing anything about the marvel comic universe (Not sure what rock you live under then but..), you would be lost. There were parts that were hard to understand if you did not have some background knowledge of the Old man Logan saga, friends we had gone with were lost and we ended up talking about it after and then putting the pieces together for everyone.

For fans it ended a chapter in the xmen universe, Logan @#%$ and that was it, I felt very VERY disappointed after this movie. Any how, que the reboot.

Next up - Power Rangers next Thursday!!! WHOOP WHOOP!

@GIGAS totally agree on XXX Zander Cage, we could not even make it to the end, it was terrible.

Dr Strange - enjoyed this, nice to see Rachel McAdams again. Nice change to the normal MCU stuff. 8/10

Hell or High Water - was expecting this to be good but it was [censored] brilliant! 10/10

Dr Strange
Not a fan of the comic, so did not really enjoy this one.
It was not bad, just a bit long.

Frozen
Had to see what all the fuss was about, & it was good.
Funny, with very good songs.

Chronicle
Still a great gritty, super power movie.

Godzilla (2014).

Power Rangers (2017).

power rangers... doesnt feel anything like a power rangers movie.
Enjoyed it though

Finally watched Suicide Squad. Not my cup of tea, highly cringe-worthy.
