Disagree totally, I thought that it was paced well and had a good story in both seasons.

The thing is, they never went the planned route...they sold the series as a start of SHIELD and it would feature the Howling Commando's and they only had Dum Dum in one episode after the premier.

Yes the 2 series were good, but it lacked something...it this not feel like a Marvel series

Interesting... I'm glad that they're doing this, I like that all of their movies are self-contained, yet still tie into an overarching Universe. Splitting one story into 2 parts would have felt out of place.

I'm really looking forward to Doctor Strange. He's always been one of my favorite characters.

I know what you mean though. I enjoyed Ant Man and Guardians just because they were different from our regular cast of heroes.

@Sandman How was it not the start of SHIELD. The entire series was built around Peggy and the precursor to SHIELD investigating all sorts of paranormal stuff. I don't see where they promised more Howling Commandos as the short that preceded it only had Howard Stark and Dum Dum in it. The first season had all the Commandos in the episode where they infiltrated the Red Room and captured the head of that Hydra splinter group, may have been HIVE, but not sure. This was as much SHIELD and Agents IMO.

@LCR reckon that they are just dropping the Part 1 and Part 2 sub-titles, but that overall story will be the same. Fans have gotten wise to that naming convention and the recent films using it have suffered. Even that last Hunger Games was hurt by it.

The actual reason was the Downey Jnr and Hemsworth, possible others refused/could not to commit until 2018/19 or so.

First look at Ghost Rider. It looks like they have taken the Robbie Reyes comic costume, but the traditional flame head design from JOhnny/Blaze, which is good. Didn't like that Robbie Reyes metal, exhaust port in the forehead look.
