@DEATHGIGAS
They have it listed here: https://nexushub.co.za/product/control-resonant-pid285827.html

Just keep in mind that the physical edition was delayed from Remedy's side, so releases like a month after digital.

Ironic thing. There is going to be an album for GTA6. And it will be available on both CD and Vinyl.

So clearly it's about control for Sony and Rockstar, not wanting you to own games. But you can own a CD and Vinyl. Both are crappy companies. I really want to see Sony crash and burn so hard. But the way Sony is going, it might be sooner, rather than later.

Excellent read Teb!!! "Jumping on a chair to make himself bigger than the spider" <- That was damn funny...I also liked the very beginning, when the child says "Stupid Game" the dad's reaction was uber funny!!!

A (rather long) article about what we chatted about in the GTA V Thread: Server problems, and should somebody be held responsible

pretty good, if you have ten minutes to read it

Excellent read!
Why and how games are marketed by gender. Also touches on marketing in general. Love the way the pics appear when you scroll down

Good read!

@Teb
Good (long) read I love that clip of the little girl!

I can relate to this article a lot. Growing up I always felt like I was committing some unspoken sin going into the boys section to look at the video games and toys. Heaven forbid if I showed an actually interest or engaged someone about them. The blank stares and awarded looks were common place. I was lucky that my family were open minded about this sort of thing. A boy cousin and myself were born only a few months a part and both played together with dolls, ninja turtles, ponies, gj joes … and ,ofc, video games. I do remember the adults commenting “not to worry, its only a phase” to each other, but more then 20 years later it seems I am still in that “phase” xD

This article really shed some light on why this sigma exists. I had no idea there was this “video-game crash” that happened. I guess that the industry had no other choice but to reinvent itself, but in a way I wish it hadn’t. The 70s sound like a real magically time for gaming where anyone could get into it and it was just about making fun games. Seems there was a real step back taken in the 80s/90s with the use of marketing.

In the office I had to explain to the lady I work with that games are not just shooting/fighting games. Guess that is the same problem anime faces with being seem as only hentia. Media and marketing are really powerful things. We see how wrong they are with portraying our personal hobbies, but that makes me question what other perceptions they have skewed.

I am just glad things are changing – well they have been for more then a decade imo. The analogy of the bookstore in this article was great – think I might use it when talking to people!

You don't know about the Great Crash? Wow... I feel old
Yeah, I was thinking that, in general, some "gamer girls" are more "boyish".
Then I realized that in this case, "boyish" really doesn't mean anything. Maybe they seem more manly because they know THEY CAN KILL THEIR OWN DRAGONS.

It's all perspective.

The promo pic doesn't look too bad--but it actually looks really horrible. I really have an issue with "fake cheese" and "cheese sauce" because it looks and tastes disgusting anyway.

What happened to good old fashioned melted cheese?

interesting article that draws parallels with Kill-a-kill and another work.

I know there's a lot of fans of the series on this board--so I just gotta point out I do not agree or disagree with the article. It is merely something interesting to consider.
