@DEATHGIGAS
They have it listed here: https://nexushub.co.za/product/control-resonant-pid285827.html

Just keep in mind that the physical edition was delayed from Remedy's side, so releases like a month after digital.

Ironic thing. There is going to be an album for GTA6. And it will be available on both CD and Vinyl.

So clearly it's about control for Sony and Rockstar, not wanting you to own games. But you can own a CD and Vinyl. Both are crappy companies. I really want to see Sony crash and burn so hard. But the way Sony is going, it might be sooner, rather than later.

Good one... Though considering it's a female condom, it acts more like a errr.... gel(?)
Wonder how long one lasts after being applied.
And how much would they cost...

I think that the author has a good point but it doesn't apply to everything. If I am looking for a new gadget like a TV and I read up that is has some serious flaw then I will skip over that one when out hunting at the shops. Restaurant taste in particlar is very subjective. Unless there many reviews about how the service was bad then it really comes down to personal taste in the end.

I know im incredibly late to the party here but this was a pretty good article.

Hell!! there are even those on this site who we will not name that seem to express an entirely subjective opinion that would appear to rather provoke a response or is just plainly malitias than rather be academic of said opinion.
I say that with complete conviction as I too have fallen into sometimes speaking when instead you should just keep it to yourself. As the article suggests, some people care for things that i dont and i care for things that others dont, thats a fair outlook.

Interesting read...

I don't that it will be “the end of console” Consoles were around long before casual gamers got into them. If you look at the current gen they are not just gaming devices either. They have internet and media support too. When the ps3 was first released it was the cheapest Blu-ray player on the market. Microsoft and Sony are highly invested in other technology that is not just focused on gaming, but that they bring into their consoles. These are HUGE companies that will undoutably change their business model to suit the current market. If causal gamers make up such are large part of their consumer base then they will find away to cater for them – if that means that they release different console versions (ones with all the bells and whistles and ones that are bare bones) then maybe they do that. Or maybe they add more features to the console to make them more attractive to the end user. But I really don’t think they will “Die”

Maybe not die, but the move towards casual gaming and gaming devices might make them rethink the direction gaming is going. Selling out R5000 for a console that can do *insert gimmick* is pointless when you already have a phone/tablet that can do the same, and has 20 free games... And is mobile, and can browse the internet, and has "indie" porno games

The day a tablet can play a game like Skyrim or Mass effect directly, is the day I might think of it as a console replacement. As for free indie games with services like PSN+ you get full high quality games for a small monthly price (+-R40 a month).

I personally find tablets quite "Gimmicky" as they fall into that awkward place between laptops and smartphones, but maybe that is just me.

I agree with the article that if consoles did die then I would go for a gaming PC, but Microsoft and Sony will not let their consumers all go to a platform that is not controlled solely by them. The article talks about 40% sales on the cheaper models, but these are not just causal gamers. A lot hardcore games bought these versions of the console because their original machines finally broke or with the lower price they could better afford it. So that would mean that more then 60% of the sales would be from non-casual gamers.

not sure why you are comparing the wii-u to tablets and phones, even though the gamepad has a screen on it, it's not trying to be a tablet, it was made for games. and because it was made for games, it has pretty much zero lag connection to the console.

sure, all development could goto phones and tablets, but most people will not pay more than $5 for a game, and it's really easy to pirate games on them, and they are limited to touchscreen only if they want more people to buy the game (less people would buy if you need a bluetooth controller).

don't worry consoles won't die out soon, maybe until japan gets bored of them and nintendo dies out lol
remember when pc gaming was going to die 10 years ago? me neither

speaking of paid reviewers

Genetically modified crops have been around for some time, but now genetically modified animals as food could soon become a reality. For years a company called AquAdvantage have been trying to get FDA approval that their GMO Salmon are safe for human consummation. Super healthy fast growing fish sounds great in our already over populated world, but there are fears of the impact the GMO salmon will have on the environment if they ever were released. They could seriously affect the food chain and provide some heavy competition for "real" salmon. AquAdvantage have said all the female salmon are sterile so they can’t mate, but my mind keeps going to Jurassic Park: "life will find a way".

So do you think that genetically modified foods are necessary especially as me near a world population of 7 billion or are we delving into things that we have no place meddling in?

We need more food or less people. Either way, science can help.

Ya if this happens I'm going full vegetarian. That ish is disgusting wow

Food shortage isn't really actually an issue in the world. There's actually enough food in production for 12 billion people. But +- 2 billion people go starving. The lovely nature of capitalism.

@Snow never knew we could feed 12 billion people. That is just sick. But I guess that is the world we live in - the fat cats just keep getting fatter.

I read sometime ago that they were looking to introduce some type of "super" foods to the public that are engineered to contain our recommended daily vitamins - sort of fused into one meal. They said it was only a few years away. Even if they do this people will still over eat while others starve. I guess GMO salmon is just one step towards that though.
