The release window of next-gen consoles is still a vague "holiday 2020", with plenty of speculation about when it could potentially release. However, thanks to a listing for Sega's upcoming turn-based action RPG, Yakuza: Like a Dragon (but it's really Yakuza 7, right?), we may have our best lead yet on when Xbox will release their next generation console, the Xbox Series X. The game is slated to be a launch title alongside the Xbox Series X, so the listing - which shows the game's release date - might align with the release of the console as well.

Sega's PR Team recently posted a listing for Yakuza: Like a Dragon that revealed the game's launch date to be November 13th, 2020 (Wccftech's sources also discovered the same date on the Xbox store page, the PlayStation Store page, and SteamDB. However, the PS5 version of the game will not be available at launch since Sony confirmed it would be an Xbox Series X timed exclusive). Since they mention it will also be released on day one of the console's release date, it's a safe bet that this will be the day Xbox Series X plans to launch as well. Of course, without a concrete release date confirmed by Microsoft yet, we can't say for certain if this is the actual day we can expect to get our hands on Xbox's next-gen console. However, since this is coming directly from Sega, there's definitely some credibility to this date that we can trust in.
November 13th also seems to be an ideal date to release the console, since it also falls within the holiday bracket of the year. The previous generation of consoles also released in November (the PS4 launched on November 15th, 2013, while the Xbox One launched on November 22nd, 2013). It's likely that both Sony and Microsoft will target November's release window again, benefiting from Christmas sales as well in the following month. Additionally, both Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077 will launch within mid-to-late November too, and since both games are confirmed for next-gen (with Cyberpunk 2077 receiving a free next-gen upgrade), it makes the November 13th date all the more believable.
Xbox Series X is slated to launch this holiday 2020, and if Sega is correct, we can get our hands on the console on November 13th, 2020.
