The next chapter in SquareEnix's amazing MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV, is almost upon us with the release of the games third expansion, Shadowbringers.
Set for a July 2nd, 2019 release date, this latest and action-packed trailer hints at some serious problems yet again. Large enough that, after spending this much time fighting as The Warrior of Light, we're now going to have to embrace the role of The Warrior of Darkness to sort stuff out.
Shadowbringers will be bringing new jobs, new races, a New Game+ and a NIER Raid to the game, along with the continuation of the Main Scenario storyline and the hundreds of sidequests that the developers have made a joy to complete.
The two new jobs will be the Dancer class and the Gunbreaker class while the Hrothgar and the Viera are the new races. Of course there will also be new areas to travel through. The New Game+ mode will allow players to replay A Real Reborn's story and class quests scaled to their current level, while the new Trust system will allow you to journey into Shadowbringers four player dungeons with the games NPC characters instead of other players. This is intended for those who don't want to que up for matchmaking, want to get to know the NPC's a lot better or just don't want to play with others. Either way, it's a nice addition that I hope, at some point, can be worked into the games previous dungeons as we all know how long que times can be for older content.
