I suppose it's better than the year that AW2 had to wait.

The Crew 2 Closed Beta Date Announced
The Crew 2 has been spoken about for some time since its reveal. Fans have eagerly been waiting to see new aspects of the game since then. However, we have had to deal with the little crumbs of information that were given to us in the form of small trailer reveals. Now, Ubisoft has announced that a Closed Beta for The Crew 2 will take place on May 31st, 2018.
The beta will officially start at 9 AM UK time and will end on June 4th at 9 AM UK time. This Beta won’t be exclusive to just one platform either. The beta will be on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Players who get access to the beta will be able to pre-load the beta onto their machines from May 29th, 2018.
The Closed Beta will feature the first level of the progression system. Players will have the opportunity to play through the first four disciplines - Street Race, Rally Raid, Powerboat and Aerobatics. The beta will sport the features showcased during The Crew 2’s reveal, such as the Fast-Fav feature that allows you to switch your vehicle wherever you are at the touch of a button.
Most importantly, fans will finally get to experience The Crew 2. It has been a long wait for us to finally get a chance to see what The Crew 2 brings to the table. We will have full hands-on coverage of the demo when it releases. Sign up here.
