Update: Spyro the Dragon Remastered Trilogy Gets Screenshots, Release Date, and Title Leaks & Release Confirmation.
Rumours around a Spyro remaster have been escalating as of late. Now, it would appear that there are a series of leaks that reveal the official title, release date, and a series of screenshots around the Spyro the Dragon remaster collection.
According to a listing from Amazon Mexico, the game will be called Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, has been developed by Toys for Bob, and will be released on September 21st, 2018. Another similar leak on Amazon India confirmed the evidence from the Amazon Mexico leak, along with screenshots and that the game will be on both PS4 and Xbox One.
These leaks have some form of evidence behind them, as the image used in the box art has been found on a dormant Syro website. The Spyro rumours have been around for some time now, we have even covered some such as Target rumour, IGN receiving an egg in the mail, data-ming evidence of Spyro found in Crash Bandicoot, and Kotaku rumouring an announcement from Activision regarding the remaster.
Fans can be delighted to see that there are much more rumours spreading around the beloved purple serpent. With more and more evidence backing these rumours as time goes by, we can only hope that Activision will officially announce the remaster.
Spyro the Dragon has yet to be confirmed. So as with all rumours, take these leaks with a grain of salt.
