Neon Genesis Evangelion Coming to Netflix in 2019

@Zombia

I almost bought it digitally a few times on sale because I've always wanted to play it. But the DLC prices are a joke. So I'm glad to finally be able to own the full game + DLC in one physical copy. I'm still trying to decide if I should get the PS5 version or Switch 2 version.

It had one previously by Limited Run Games, this version has all the DLC expansions and improved performance though.

Need to sell my original version now.

Oh wow Rain World got a physical edition ? That's a _very_ interesting game but one that's quite a challenge too

Sad to hear about the delay, but I was 100% going to play AC 0 before trying the new one, so if I can get it early, that's all good!

@Tea

It's time for you to play Dawnwalker. What an absolute fantastic game. And seriously, don't worry about the time limit. They should have handled it better in the prologue, because the prologue's time limit is very strict and relaxes significantly afterwards

Standard Edition is now 1499
Deluxe Edition is 1799

Neon Genesis Evangelion Coming to Netflix in 2019

by Shelly van Heerden on 27 November, 2018

Netflix have begun to release their announcement list of anime coming to the streaming platform in 2019, and one of the first and biggest announcements is that of the 1995, critically acclaimed anime, Neon Genesis Evangelion. The original TV series will be available, as well as three follow up movies.

Evangelion is set in 2015, fifteen years after the Second Impact, a global cataclysm, has taken place. Three teenagers are called up for pilot duty inside the Evangelions, bio-machines that require human nervous system syncronisation to pilot them, and fight off the "Angels", aliens that wish to bring a Third Impact.

This mecha title is probably one of the biggest in the anime world (and has inspired blockbusters like Pacific Rim) and is certainly a must see for any anime lovers. Honestly, even if you have seen it, you should watch it again because that mind-bamboozling plotline needs to be refreshed in our delicate minds, over 20 years after the fact.

The series and movies will be available to watch before the 2020 Evangelion flick, Shin • Evangelion, is released in Japan, as announced by Anime! Anime! earlier this year. The international release date has yet to be announced.

The last two episodes of the anime is the most baffling thing I've ever seen (not in a good way). At least the movies somewhat rectified it, but I don't think I can subject myself to the anime again. I'd rather watch the excellent rebuild movies.

Couldn't watch this again, it falls apart halfway through and just becomes a terrible watch. Let's not even get into End of Evangelion. Netflix put up Anno's best work, Gunbuster, now that's a Mecha anime that can be watched countless times.
