Mortal Kombat 11 Releases Cassie Cage and Kano Reveal Trailer
What happens when you mix Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade? You get Cassie Cage, of course. However, this has never been emphasised so much before her Mortal Kombat 11 reveal. Well, we get to see her fighting her parents' battles, as she takes on the malevolent Kano in the latest trailer.

Cassie Cage was always a mixed bag for me. In Mortal Kombat X, I couldn't really get behind her moveset when compared to the likes of Jacqui Briggs and her own mother, Sonya Blade. Now, it would appear she has all the flashy moves of her father, and the ground and pound technique of her mother, to make one very obscure, yet interesting fighting style.
Cassie makes more use of her drone now, with the ability to deflect bullets off of it, and even use her green aura on it. That being said, she seems to blend her own abilities with her gadgets rather gracefully. Alongside her father's inherent abilities, she has taken some of his personality. Definitely a welcomed addition for those who played Cassie in MKX.
She didn't take all the limelight, as Kano also took to the stage, delivering powerful attacks of his own. Kano has been geared to control the mid-range area of the battlefield, with setups and punishing counter-attacks in mind. Kano and Cassie were showcased in the Kombat Kast this week, which is a first for the MK11 Kombat Kasts. Mortal Kombat 11 will release on the April 26, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
