Days Gone Gets Release Date, Arrives in February 2019
PlayStation has just announced that their anticipated upcoming open world survival game, Days Gone, now has a confirmed release date of February 22, 2019. The news was announced in their second day of livestreaming announcements counting down to E3 2018.
Days Gone was first unveiled on Sony's stage at E3 2016, receiving two trailers, one for the initial story, and another which closed the show that highlighted the type of gameplay we can expect, and what creatures we will be fighting in this world.
Bend Studio, the developers behind the project, have been hard at work since that reveal, showing off healthy doses of gameplay as well as time for the press to get hands-on with the game. While it may closely resemble many open world zombie survival games, Days Gone promises to tell a more bold story with interesting characters and a dynamic open world unlike anything that's been done before in the genre.
Days Gone arrives exclusively on PlayStation 4 on February 22, 2019.
