Mercy #1 - It was pretty good, ddn't give off too much but was enough to keep me interested and pre-order #2 and #3

Unsacred #1-3 - It's pretty funny, it's just a bunch of little short events that compose of their life, laughed a few times while reading it. Well worth a read but it's nothing ground breaking just funny and easy to get through.

Locke and Key Golden Age arc - fantastic 1920s series #1-3 were superb, #4-5 fun.

Daredevil first 180 issues. Just finished the Death of Electra issue. The good - Frank Miller’s art and story telling is brilliant (sad what he’s devolved into). Jansen’s inks are brilliant. The bad - build up to this issue wasn’t as epic as I thought, Electra is in the previous 10 or so issues but her interaction with DD is minimal, you don’t really get that relationship building that makes you really care about her death.

Just finished Kelly Sue DeConnick's B***h Planet Vol1&2 - wonderfully subversive.

Blade Runner 2019 #7 - excellent, this arc is going to be better than the first after a dodgy start.

H2O - three part series, disappointing.

Adler #2 - fantastic, pity #3 is pushed back to August.

Poison Ivy: Cycle of Life and Death - Enjoyed the story and some pretty good artwork

Batgirl: Stephanie Brown vol.1 - enjoying it as well

First story is Banes origin & prelude to the Knightfall saga.
The second story is Bane & Ra's al Ghul.

Avengers: No Road Home - pretty decent but a weak ending. Nice introduction on previous events that didn't look remotely interesting. Conan and Scarlet Witch team up was good.

Last of Us American Dreams - prequel to the first game, picked it up on sale last year. Good.

Just finished Jonah Hex by Grey and Palmiotti. Pretty good for the most part.


Also finished Geoff Johns JSA run and while it wasn't the greatest, the Thy Kingdom Come storyline was an interesting one.

Was okay, but prefer Steve Dillon's art work.

Batman #82 - Harley and Punchline finally meet

Joker 80th - Much like last weeks Catwoman but this did have the origin of Punchline.

Spy Seal - bought it because of the 'Tintin' art style, was pretty decent once you got over the weird animal/human thing.



Got me remembering the unfamiliar Tintin books I saw in France in 2005 that I couldn't find when I got back in South Africa. Finally found them, not Tintin but a new duo. Done by Herge's main illustrator and then by a new team on his death (license owned by the publisher unlike Tintin). Wow, for a Tintin fan to find 26 similar books this is amazing. Bought the first 8 and only this amount with some tremendous self control. Blake and Mortimer!
