Kill La Kill ep20 - Finally don't have to listen to that voice anymore

Kill la Kill - Episodes 01 - 20
So while bored on my weekend shifts, I found myself in the mood to watch some anime for a change. I have this problem where I get super bored of a series after around 3 to 4 episodes... I stopped watching many, many Anime series because of this... And funny enough, this series kept me interested the whole way through so far

That said, the story does kinda lose some steam after the 4th episode, but I decidied to keep on watching it just because the show is actually funny. It kinda feels like it should be in the same boat as FLCL (Fooly Cooly), as it's equally wacky & full of well animated action, but like I said, the series does lose some steam after a while, which is probably why a Seires like FLCL worked so well with the amount of episodes it has.

I'm at episode 20 of a series licensed for 24 episodes if I'm not mistaken... So I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who likes this kinda genre, and even to some who don't.


One Piece - Episodes 586 - 597
So I wanted to watch more anime after realizing that there aren't any new Kill la Kill episodes out yet... So I decided to watch my go-to long-running series. One Piece

I've been taking a break from all of the long-running anime series because I absolutely hate waiting a week for one episode... Which is probably why I'm always late for Hype Trains, not that it really bothers me .

Nothing much to say here though, shounen anime always follow the same formula, but One Piece is the only series that feels different to me... So I'll continue watching until I'm at that one-per-week wall again and probably (if I'm in the mood) watch something else I'm behind on.

Space Dandy 09 - This show is so freaking loopy. Ping Pong club had more of story line than this. In that regard the show reminds me a lot of 90's anime like Cowboy bebop and Outlaw star where most of the episodes were random self contained stories.

Although they were more coherent than this =p Still loving it though. This along with TOnari no seki-kun, kill la kill, hozuki no reietsu and ippo are my highlights of the week.

One Piece Episodes 598 - 624
Story arc ended well (as One Piece story arcs usually do). Now I'm pondering if I need to take a break from it again or not... Since by the looks of it this next arc is gonna take about as long as Punk Hazard

Kara No Kyoukai Mirai Fukuin - damn ufotable animation is amazing. always amazes me how damn good this anime looks. wasn't as hype as the 1st 7 movies but was still a pretty good watch.

Swords Arts Online - Really good show. The second half of the season wasn't as good as the first, but it was still a great watch. Total recommendation.

Kuroko no Basuke (Kuroko's Basketball)

Started watching this show on Crunchyroll a few days ago. So far it is very enjoyable and I am only a few episodes in, so I am looking forward to seeing how the anime plays out.

The Dusk Maiden of Amnesia

Eps 01 -03

Watched the first 3 episodes and so far I am liking it a bit. I was expecting a full on horror/mystery anime, but it actually has some very funny moments in it. and when it does get all spooky-scary the show doesn't disappoint.


Kuroko no Basuke

Ep 16

Still REALLY loving this anime! I usually hate sports anime, but this show really hooked me. The story is actually decent and the characters likable.

Finished right as it was starting to turn into filler. In the manga Nora doesnt manage to steal Hiori's memories and rabo never shows up, so hoping the second season comes out with only the begging bit being filler then going back to the original story line.

only 12 eps and they're already starting filler o_o
yea 2nd season would be nice though

I am pretty sure it will get a second season, Think the first season was just to gauge the interest, and they wouldnt of been able to do the next arc as well in 12 episodes.

The manga isnt really that far ahead yet.
