@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

For niche titles it's okay. Problem is I play mainly bigger titles. Games are expensive enough as is. If I can save 50 bucks, use my ebucks (which some retailers allow) then I'm definitely going with another retailer.

Basically if I have to choose between paying delivery or not I'm going to go for not paying for delivery. On top of that, I find my Nexus orders are usually delayed. I don't think I've ever received a game on release day which is annoying when you're paying extra for delivery especially. And often you have to ask where it is which I don't think the customer should have to do, that's part of customer service.

Just my 2c here but trust is more important that shipping, Nexus gets the imported niche titles you cant find anywhere else, they keep you updated when theres issues and support is readily available.

Just for that pure customer service, Id pay R50 any day

I don't care about free shipping. Nexus's cost for shipping is low as is. Other retailers cost a lot more.

Bakuman season three.

Yay!!! Almost dome!!! 5 eps left. Bakuman is definitely not meant to be an anime.

That being said, I'm starting to think about what I should watch next.

I feel like something really otaku-y at the moment, so moe, wacky hair colours etc. and also relatively short. 13-24 episodes.

Anyone got any suggestions?
I'm thinking Kimoza! maybe...

Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai! ep1 - It's like Ippo with female wrestlers lol

Walkure Romanze ep1 - Boring

Coppelion ep1 - Also boring

Mardock Scramble The Third Exhaust - wasn't as good as the previous movies, moved a bit slowly, end was cool.

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) - Episodes 01-25

I knew this was gonna be good because of almost everyone praising it so much. I'm one of those people now I really recommend this.

Pokémon: The Origin - Episodes 01-02

The first episode was fantastic! It covered a lot of ground without making it feel super rushed, and it did a great job representing the characters, Pokémon, battles and environments. This 1st episode is basically everything I wanted out of a Pokémon Anime
On a way different note... the 2nd was so disappointing... It felt like a filler episode to me, and that's not good considering the length of the series I really hope the 3rd episode helps the OVA pick up some momentum to help make the end part worth while

Finished up the last 3 eps of Bakuman. meh.

Anyway...that being said, I felt like a movie and on a whim decided to watch Summer Wars.

What a fantastic film! It's so good, it's beyond words.
Loved every minute of it and fell in love with every single character.

BlazBlue: Alter Memory Ep 1 - Animation was crap, expected a bit more. Not enough Noel screen time and needs Makoto. Fights where also pretty crap, probably be another DMC anime lol

Yuusha ni ep 1 - Not sure about this, it could be awesome if there is some action scenes and such, if demons start coming back etc, if it just turns into another boring harem anime it will be ****.

Coppelion - okay this anime has earned a spot on my watch list

Kyoukai no Kanata - wow this anime looks amazing!!! wonder why an anime like this got such a killer budget. so silly but so epic. will watch it for the animation alone

Pokemon Origins Ep 1 & 2 - if they really wanted to make this accurate to the videogames he should be breaking into random peoples houses and taking their stuff and stealing trainers money after he beats them.

Blazblue Alter Memory - sucks ragna still a badass though

Freezing Vibrator ahem.. i mean Vibration* - good season

Now just to wait for Pupa to air and i'll be all set for this season
