Have to say that while the game looks amazing, I am still not sure on this. Guerilla did the amazing looking Killzone and the gameplay was pretty average. Think I am going to wait and see.

The setting is intriguing, but this trailer actually helped put me off a bit. Once again in a post apocalyptic game we play as the Chosen One who has to go on the Heroes Journey to discover her destiny and why the Truth was hidden from her. From the trailer it is obvious she is able to use tech like noone else can, hence the '90's bluetooth headset, and she finds some sort of technology cache/base that is keyed to her and her alone.
The idea that machines somehow gained animal like sentience is a nice subversion of the usual machine intelligence tropes and I do love that the world isn't brown and irradiated and destroyed, but rather colourful and varied. But how do they create more of themselves, is there a factory somewhere, Flintsontes style, churning these out or are they biomechanical and somehow able biologically create more of their species. It is intriguiing in that there are all these mysteries to be resolved

Yeah if you watched the E3 footage you see that. Aloy basically captures it and through her magic techno stick reprograms the beast.
