MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.
HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though
)
I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).
I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.
I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

So it been confirmed that V.2 Marvel figures will also work in Battlegrounds
They have all also been updated with new combat moves for this playset, and Marvel power-discs from 2.0 are compatible - some with new effect. This playset looks to be a lot of fun, and according to most sites the rumor is that the easter egg at the end is a hint to an upcoming Marvel character pack... *SPOILER* Thanos *SPOILER* (highlight between to reveal).

@Sandman Your collection is looking great!
This new Battlegrounds playset is a lot of fun, plenty of content and a nice expansion of the Infinity brand in terms of gameplay mechanics, plus it means that all my .MARVEL. figures from 2.0 are getting more playtime.
Really looking forward to getting Black Panther next month, will finally get to unlock the Keyblade in Toy Box...

There are some really great fan-art creations for Disney Infinity, a few of which I would love to see made real... I'm looking at you Daredevil... again, fan-art, NOT in production, nor official.
You should have a look at some of the custom figures you get some really artistic people out there.

There's this one amiibo customizer named GandaKris
She is the best of the best, she could easily make those custom DI figures

Are those figures only for display or can they used in the game

You mean GandaKris's?
Well she takes working amiibo and greatly alters them, sometimes creates parts from the ground of, incredible actually, DI ones won't be a challenge for her
She does commissions if I recall correctly
Check out her work, and remember these are still fully functioning figures, the chips in them most likely aren't of the characters they portray https://www.instagram.com/Ganda_Kris/
She is THE best, Disney/Nintendo/Activision should hire her

The figures is just for display…what is the use getting them if they can’t be used in the game…

Well mainly because there aren't figures of these characters... yet at least, but a sweet custom figure is pretty neat right?

So...
My wife actually noticed Infinity characters for the first time Yesterday in a shop. I tried to explain the concept to her, but I don't think I did a very good job
So...
Could somebody that has the game/hardware explain what it is and how the games work
What are the start-up costs?
Does it have co-op? Like one Ps4 and two controller co-op?

Disney Infinity is amazing. Just saying. The figures are uber awesome!
You need to buy the games starter pack first which comes with 2 figures, a play set piece (the games levels essentially), and a portal. Putting the figures on the base unlocks the characters for you to play with in the game. The play set piece essentially does the same for the games story levels.
It is local co-op as the base has space on it for two figures or a figure and power disc combination.
The game also has a toybox mode for you to play with the characters that don't have story levels of their own, or if you want to, to create your own levels.
Startup cost is a bit pricey for the starter set which ranges from R860 - R960. Extra figures cost R199 and one of the nice things about the Infinity range is that Disney is trying to keep the price static.
1.0 and 2.0 are awesome, but you can start with 3.0 which has a lot of content for it available from the get go.
1.0 and 2.0 figures are usable in 3.0's toybox mode. The games aren't backwards compatible I'm afraid and you can't use 1.0 and 2.0's levels in 3.0.
