Speaking as a divorcee, suddenly being alone after 7 years was a massive shock.
Still wake up at night and feel the empty space beside me and die a little inside.
Now, having been alone again for around 2 years, I also don't know how I would react to a new presence. (What, I need to wear pants INSIDE THE HOUSE!?)
Having to date again, learn favorite things again, meets parent and friends... !sick
But since you cannot predict the future, it's all pure speculation. If it's the right person, you will do whatever, with a real smile on your face.

I can definitely say one thing, if we ever get divorced, reckon I'd be content staying single for a long time.
Hard to say whether I'd remain single for the rest of my years, we're social creatures, I've met my fair share of "loving life" singletons who envy those who have a family/significant other.
But I for one would definitely not venture out into those seas for a long, long time.

I think I might start looking for a relationship in about 10 years, when my car and all student loans have been paid off. Student loan will be paid end of this year, car in 6 years. I also plan on moving out of the country, more job opportunities overseas.

Loving somebody is seldom something you plan. It just happens, like an unexpected kick to the nasties.
Also, when true love comes a knocking, only a fool turns it down.
If I knew 10 years my marriage would not last, I would still court the sh*t out of my ex. Though I would probably appreciate each day more. Best years of my life.
Of course, losing it hurts on levels that you cannot explain without a map, biology manual, seven yards of razor wire and a larger nutcracker.
