Hi Bob - Not as yet but we are investigating various new gaming systems to launch organised play and product ranges at the Nexus Hub for this year - and that range is one of them

Black - fantastic, brutally punishing at times specifically with checkpoint system. The need to finish a mission in a session needs to be taken in account. Great fun, no needless babbling, powerful weapons (Magnum, SAW and SPAS-12). The fact that ground is littered with cases after extended firing, how come no one else has done this? Enemies are total bullet sponges but the SAW puts their ass on the ground and the Magnum/shotgun sends them to the next life with 1-2 shots.

COD: Black Ops - terrible. Cheap and lame. The only way you die in this game is if you failed to keep up with team or the grenade spamming. Plenty of objective completed followed by you failed to keep up with team. Typical Treyarch's lack of emotional intelligence on display too. Tons of inane babbling too.

Black
Still just as tough all these years later.
The bridge was not so bad, but the last level in the underground bunker was CRAZY!!!
Game looks okay on the PS2, just a very bland looking game.
Good destructible environments.
Guns a great! Super fun to use!!
Assault rifles like the AK & G36C are my go to, & the SAW just destroys everything. Got to love the MAC though.
Enemies are bullet sponges, never mind the ones with body armor & shields.
Also you don't get to fight the main bad guy thats talked about. Just waves of the same solders. No actual boss fights.
This should have been a franchise.

Resident Evil 4 Remake
Standard B 16hours 52mins
Excellent remake. Still just as tough as the original.
Load times on PS4 are $hit by todays standards.
Only grip I have is no dedicated dodge button. You can only dodge at certain times when the game tells you.
Second playthough still to come

Dead Island 2
Wow, after being in development hell for 10 years, it actually turned out pretty damn good
Good voice acting & story for a zombie game.
Gets close to being repetitive, but just missing it.
Map is good, broken into hubs instead of one giant map.
Looks & plays great on the PS4.

007 Agent Under Fire
No Pierce Brosnan, but close enough.
Fun FPS, with driving & on rail sections.
Looks pretty decent on PS2.
Controls in FP are terrible.

007 Nightfire
Even better then the last one, Pierce Brosnan likeness is used. Its FPS, so does not really matter though.
Has a nice musical opening like the 007 movies.
Has driving & on rail sections again. But still terrible FP controls.

007 Everything or Nothing
Best Bond game so far.
Brosnan, Dench, Dafoe as the villian, Heidi Klum & Shannon Elizabeth as the Bond girls.
Great opening & song in the Bond style.
Game is now third person, with driving sections. Bikes & a whole driving mission that could be its on rally game.
Gadgets, weapons, everything is great. & it looks fantastic.

007 From Russia with Love
Best Bond game ever!!
Just a bit weird having an old Sean Connery, voice a young Sean Connery.
They did have to make some adjustments, form the movie to the game.
Like adding the jet pack, which is awesome.
All third person, with some driving sections.
Controls, gadgets, everything is great!

Jedi Survivor! Excellent game. Loved all the different styles and Cal's Journey.
Hopefully we get a trilogy to cap off his story!

The Last of Us: Part I

Worth every cent, for me.

Breathtaking visuals aside, I was particularly impressed by how differently (for the better) the combat feels when compared to TLOU remastered.

The reworked AI/NPC behavior genuinely brings a whole new level of excitement and spontaneity to the combat.

Will dive into NG+ at a later point, for sure.

Final Fantasy 16 - Enjoyed this one, fun game to play, new game + is a bit of a let down, not much new in the unlocked difficulty setting besides enemies being more bullet sponges so reloaded my save before the clear file to run around and do some chronolith challenges.

Fantastic game, even better then the last one.
Story is great, side quests are okay. But the School Stories are great!!
Tiger Style is super OP!
Still a huge "mini" map on screen
Being able to skateboard around is fun, but you can't on sidewalks

The Last of Us
After watching the series, I wanted to replay the game.
The remaster on PS4 is still great. Don't like some of the changes they made to the PS5 remaster.

Call of Duty 3 - the worst rated proper COD game even when it came out (2006). Not as bad as people make it out to be. R99 was a fair price. One playthrough enough.

Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Replaying these on a 4K tv and PS5 makes them feel brand new. Cannot believe these are 20 years old
