Yes, the East Rand Mall isn't what it used to be anymore. But it's nice to get out of Secunda for a change. Our mall here seriously sucks.

People complaining about not enough dams during water shortages and now they complain when they're given more.

Government just can't win.

@IkariX That hole is filled with water, might as well call it a lake now.

I used to go to the mall every weekend back in the day.
But all the good shops have closed.

Yes, that hole sucks, and it sucks having to take the side road now. Because even that is starting to look like crap.

Me and my sister go to the East Rand Mall and flea market regularly. We have a mall where I live, but it's[censored].

We also have a giant hole here in Boksburg.
Sinkhole took out a whole road, been 3 years, still not fixed.
Think they should also make it an attraction now.

Bioshock Infinite

Still think the story and characters are great, but this game could have been half the length and been the better for it. Even with vigors and gear, it's 90% a pure shooter and all the filler battles between more interesting encounters/set pieces just drag by the end. Even Booker and Elizabeth's constant banter can't hide how large but empty most of the game world feels in comparison to Bioshock 1/2.

I've got minimal memory of the Burial at Sea DLC that I'll tackle next. but this replay cements Infinite as my least favourite in the Bioshock Trilogy.

COD World at War
Damn, so happy I played this game again!
Campaign is so good! Jumping between the Americans fighting the Japs, & the Russians fighting the Nazis. Super gritty!
Just damn hard, probably the hardest COD game. Enemies spam grenades like its going out of fashion!
& the first COD with Nazi Zombies

Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Part 1 + 2

Simultaneously the best and worst parts of Bioshock Infinite. Environment and gameplay-wise, I love the return to Rapture and the lack of resources that result in more tactical encounters (especially when playing as Elizabeth in episode 2). On the other hand, the narrative feels like a response to fan-fic trying to connect the game in the series. Bioshock Infinite already had several plotholes and inconsistencies you could ignore if you got caught up in the experience, whereas Burial at Sea forces you to consider them, get more confused, and then accept it serves as prequel to the first Bioshock game.

My current ranking is still Bioshock 2 > Bioshock 1 >>> Infinite

Agreed! Bio2 was great! The DLC for Infinite was ok, not to bad but not ground breaking! Wonder what needs to happen for a new Bioshock...

But now I'm feeling like DeadSpace 1 and 2.. I know the same Devs have a new game on the way, hopefully its that spiritual successor to DS and not like Mighty No 9 to Megaman ...

I was surprised how much I enjoyed replaying Bioshock 2 and Minerva's Den - a good balance between Bioshock 1's design and Infinite's more shooter-focussed design.

I think the best bet now is for them to dig up some old/cut concepts and make something completely detached from Rapture/Colombia. Way too much baggage otherwise.

@deathgigas - so which would take top spot between the RE2 Remake and RE3 Remake?

Found the RE2 Remake was great but had a few issues compared to the original (feel they should have stuck with a canon 1st run/2nd run and made them feel different). RE3 Remake felt like a straight reimagining, with the novel systems stripped out.I liked the changes from the hospital onwards, but the early city/sub-station/sewer section managed to feel smaller and less interesting than the interconnected corridors of 1999's RE3: Nemesis.

Damn, that ending
End of an era, started these games are PS2
Had my doubts, but its up there with Yakuza O & 4.
They did change a few things, mostly for the better. Auto save FTW!

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Did a Tremere playthrough this time around. Loyal to the Camerilla to the end, but F**K the prince! So many years later and this game still holds up. Thoughg, that being said, I did have a few bugs (there was one sidequest that I couldn't complete because an random NPC kept glitching) and a couple of crashes but that didn't make the story and awesome VtM world any worse.

Will more than likely do another playthrough later in the year, though I haven't decided which clan to do next.

Had very low expectations going in. But the game really surprised me.
Not as good as the last game, which was my GOTY for that year.
Story takes a LONG time to build. But you had a good ending & a nice twist at the end.
The recruiting works very well. & the city feels alive, with ppl going about their business & interacting with each other.
The voice acting was not so bad, just the odd one here & there.
Game looks great, just crashed a few times one me.
Games a lot of fun, if you stick with it.
Was given a Hitman (woman) after completing one mission.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth

A whole 114 hours in the end, and loved every moment of it.

It took me forever to finally get to the end, because I decided to grind for certain digimon. Though, said digimon made the final battle alot easier. I am wrapping up some post-game missions now and have already started up Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory.

Assassins Creed Valhalla
83hours level 325
I wasn't a fan of the loot, & leveling up system. Didn't like the combat system either, but I think thats just me.
Game is huge! 4 smaller maps, & one very big map!
Story & side quests are a very good. The story is very long, so the side quests are short & sweet. Lots of collectables to find.
The ending sets up big stuff for the next game. WW2 setting would be nice, don't know where else they could go?
Unfortunately the game is VERY buggy. To the point where the final story mission glitched. Luckily you don't miss much, as the ending actually takes place before then. The secret ending is a must!!!!!!!

Outriders: played it solo and finished it, The Tier system is good and i hope its implemented in other games in the future, you always in for a fight and you cant out level your enemies, unless you choose you lower your Tier then its easier but the loot is crap. Sticking with the higher Tier gets you better loot.
Story is good really enjoyed the combat, was pretty hooked from start to end. End game stuff is okay, hopefully they have some cool DLC`s in the future.
The guns are epic, so many different kinds with different abilities, guess that what keep you playing, wanting to get more legendary`s . The game is a must for any fans of loot and shoot.

The Darkness
Done by the same guys who did Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay. But this one seems to be aging a bit better.
Still a great game, just lots of backtracking.

Condemned Criminal Origins
Only played the second one, thought the first one was a PC exclusive.
Found it on Xbox360, for a 15 year old game it still looks damn good.
This is one helluva freaky game!! They absolutely nailed the atmosphere.
Its got a very basic detective mode. Combat is also very basic, little bit clunky now but still works.
Great story & some interesting collectables to find.
A must play, but with the lights on
