Yes, the East Rand Mall isn't what it used to be anymore. But it's nice to get out of Secunda for a change. Our mall here seriously sucks.

People complaining about not enough dams during water shortages and now they complain when they're given more.

Government just can't win.

@IkariX That hole is filled with water, might as well call it a lake now.

I used to go to the mall every weekend back in the day.
But all the good shops have closed.

Yes, that hole sucks, and it sucks having to take the side road now. Because even that is starting to look like crap.

Me and my sister go to the East Rand Mall and flea market regularly. We have a mall where I live, but it's[censored].

We also have a giant hole here in Boksburg.
Sinkhole took out a whole road, been 3 years, still not fixed.
Think they should also make it an attraction now.

Condemned 2
Good, improves on just about everything from the last game. Except the story & the atmosphere.
The second game is not scary in the slightest, where as the first game was very freaky!!
No third game though

Took me two days to finish 8. Yeah 7 was more scary and this game reminded me of RE4. Now im hoping there will be some DLC.

Dark Souls: Remastered

Sat down on Tuesday and managed to get through 6 bosses and Gwyn to wrap up the game.
I had an absolute blast with this game and have started a new game+ run, though I am not looking forward to doing the Ornstein and Smough fight again. That fight took me forever to get right.

Resident Evil Village

As far as gameplay goes, a step up from REVII with a lot of mechanics returning from RE4 (more guns, more upgrades, a merchant, secrets, etc.). The idea of tackling 4 "lords" in their respective domains is also great as there's more variety in this RE than any game since RE6.

That said, the narrative and complexity/quality of some locations feels off, as if too much was added after a cohesive core game was already in place. The ending is bonkers; a lot of fun gameplay-wise, but bogged down by RE baggage as they attempt to connect the game to prior events in the last 30 minutes.

I found the tone of the game to be very inconsistent and immersion breaking...
One second something is trying to eat your face, then you turn around and just... carry on?
It feels like the Mc is not really involved in anything. Like "meh, monsters. Is it Tuesday already?"

Slight spoiler for the first 30 minutes?
At the start you get a finger and a piece of your hand bitten of. 10 minutes later the MC just... punches a wall... with the side of his hand that has a piece missing.

Parts are great, but some parts and puzzles feel very forced

@Teb - yeah it's a very weird game that feels like a rollercoaster ride of ideas that need a bit more editing. On the narrative side, I don't think it works. However, when it comes to gameplay variety, I thought it was great.

TimeShift
Played the demo back in the day a few times. Finally got around to playing the full game.
Hasn't aged too badly. Environments look good, the NPCs are a bit disproportioned.
Straight forward FPS, no collectables or side quests.
Guns feel great, but your time shift powers are what makes the game fun.
Pause, rewind, & slowdown time. Simple, but effective.
The enemy AI is good. Pause time, steal an enemies gun right out his hands & watch him freak out. Use your time shift powers to solve some simple puzzles.

Little Nightmares
Replaying this, before starting the second one.
Still a great little game, load times could be better though.

Resident Evil 8- absolutely loved this game, not as scary or hard as 7, but just a pure joy to play and feel like a bad ass.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag for the second time! Loved that game. I am busy with Origins at the moment. Valhalla is sitting in my library looking very tempting

Little Nightmares 2
Even better then the first game, no load times & a bit of a longer game.
This one takes place before the first one.
Ending was a bit disappointing though.

Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy
Straight port from PS2, they pretty much took the PS2 disc & put it into a PS4 box lol
They did some nice packaging for the PS4 15 Anniversary Edition. But they did not TOUCH the game
Game is still good, but the controls have not aged well at all.
Your character controls like a drunk robot. & the QTE are handled with the dual sticks, which is a nightmare & go on WAY too long!!
Trophies are a lot of fun.
Just which they hade done a remaster/remake

MUST PLAY! If you thought Resi7 was good, you ain't seen nothing yet!
They improved on everything from the last game, except that piss poor torch. But you hardly use it this game.
Inventory system is nice & streamlined now. LOTS of guns, that you can upgrade.
The last game had a handful of boss encounters, but this game has a bunch!
Nice big open map, lots of exploration to do.
The merchant is back, makes a big difference in the game.
Great story, & the game keeps changing things up.
Some nice replay value with new game plus, challenges, new weapons to unlock.
Mercenaries mode is a bit disappointing. One map, guess the others will be dlc.

Yakuza Dead Souls
20hours 35% complete 5600 zombies sent to the meat grinder.
Did about 40/60 sub quests.
Having done all the main Yakuza games, its time for the spin offs.
All shooting, theres no hand to hand combat like the other games.
Good boss fights, good story & fun sub quests.

Afro Samurai
If you not a fan of the anime or never watched it, then stay away.
If you are a fan, then its still great, if very repetitive. & the boss fights are a pain in the butt. Not as much as the first time I played it, but still.
Game looks great & plays great.
All the actors from the anime voice the game. So Samuel L. Jackson & Ron Perlman.
