Blade Runner 2039 #1-4 - solid first arc.

Sharkey the Bounty Hunter #1-6 - complete series. Netflix film planned, not sure how this will translate. His ship is an ice cream van.

Punisher Soviet - Garth Ennis Max continuation. Brutal even by Punisher standards. Change Castle's sidekick from Russian to Ukranian and Marvel would have a winner here for a Punisher film.

Fun read. I mean you can't go wrong with Punisher as Ghost Rider with cosmic powers. Even though Marvel is clearly running out of ideas lol

Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: Tales of the Jedi Vol. 1

Almost halfway through. I had a craving for some Star Wars comics and this is definitely hitting the spot.

Suicide Squad Blaze - DC Black Label. Great but artwork was a bit crap. Same Suicide Squad team as the last film. Superman get's his spine ripped out and the Avengers get slaughtered by the baddie btw.

Blade Runner 2039#5-6 great, up to speed with series.

Blade Runner Black Lotus #1-4 - teen friendly and cartoony artwork made this a bit meh. Covers by far the best thing.

Conan the Barbarian (FCBD) issue - new series on Titan. seems everyone has a Conan comic nowadays. Pretty decent.

The Wild Storm Vol 1 - Warren Ellis reimagines his own Wildstorm series as it slots into DC universe. Very good.

Excellent, a collection of difficult to find Hellblazer stories including Shoot the one that DC cancelled at the time (their intentions were good but misguided),

STAR WARS LEGENDS EPIC COLLECTION: THE OLD REPUBLIC VOL. 1



Having now read the origin story of the Jedi, I now jump a few thousand years ahead to the period of the Old Republic. The Republic has just won a decisive war against the Sith, and must now (with help from the Jedi) defend against the Mandalorians.

So far, the comics have a nice, snappy pace, an interesting plot, and the humor always lands.
Definitely enjoyable reading.

Finished Sea of Stars #6-11. Incredible universe and a good story of a father looking for his son. Would make a great animated film/series.

Rereading all the 2000s Marvel Zombie comics.
Good stuff, just the later issues when they start adding the C list characters. Then its not so good, Howard The Duck

Rereading a bunch of my Deadpool comics.
Merc with a Mouth is by far still the best Deadpool series.
The Spiderman/Deadpool series started off great, & then fizzled out. Well I stopped reading them around issue 7. Think it went up to issue 50?

Finished Blade Runner 2039 #7-8 - pretty good.

Marked #1-10 - first arc was good, second arc was a bit hit and miss.

Sonata Vol 1&2 - pretty good

The Wild Storm Vol 4 - this, if it was made into a DC film, I would watch. Excellent.

Crysis #1-6 - tie-in between Crysis and Crysis 2. Written, like Crysis 2, by Richard Morgan (Altered Carbon). Pretty good expansion of universe. Artwork a bit crap though.

Acheron (Mignolaverse one shot) - decent.

The Last Barbarians #1-5 - decent read. New series from Image.

Your Highness - the prequel comic to the film. First story was awesome, second OK.

DC's Masters of the Universe was excellent. Artwork was great and the interaction with memory loss Adam and Teela was just too good. Picked up in DC Sale

Adam: "That goes a long way to explaining absolutely nothing"
Teela: "Were you always so whiny".

BLOODBORNE: THE DEATH OF SLEEP

Having put close to 400 hours into Bloodborne, I can't say for certain how this volume would read to a complete newcomer, however I do think it does a solid job of reestablishing the game's major themes and premise.

It takes place a tiny bit before the beginning of the game, and follows a nameless Hunter and a sickly child on their quest to find a way to put an end to the beastly scourge which has overrun the city of Yharnam. This is basically the game's story, but elements have been reimagined and put in a clearer order.

A good read for fans of the game.

Finished - some good, some not so much. Originally most of these were released digitally only, now collected in a volume. Origins of all characters. Could be read before Vol 1, not essential.

Just finished. Start of a longer story arc including a DC crossover. Brilliant especially Teela.

Grizzlyshark #1-3 - daft but fun.



Retworld Vol 1-2, complete arc. Pretty decent French SF comic with WH40K theme of colonised worlds left to develop in isolation for 1,000 years before being discovered again by the Galactic whatever.
