Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

I dunno if I should get it on Xbox or PS3... hey, they fixed the issues on PS3, right?

Nope, still the same issue. They actually said somewhere, if I rmemeber right, that there's nothing they could really do abot it on PS3 because of the way the system itself works on accessing memory etc.

Xbox or PC would be the way to go. I'll get the Xbox version and maybe the PC one to mod on.

@Corr
If you haven't experienced any of the crashing problems then you're good. However I'd be weary about how all the extra content is gonna affect the save files and memory usage. I remember when the expansions were announced, Bethesda was having problems getting them to work already on PS3.

I had +100 hours in Oblivion on PC and changed over to Xbox, didn't regret it at all.

SKYRIM HAS SOLD 20 MILLION COPIES SINCE IT LAUNCHED IN NOVEMBER 2011

South Africa, Johannesburg, 29 January 2014: The award-winning fantasy role-playing masterpiece The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim® which was released in November 2011 and enjoyed worldwide critical and commercial success. As the sequel to the 2002 Role-Playing Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind®, and the 2006 Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion®, Skyrim earned hundreds of ‘Game of the Year’ awards and sold over 20 million copies.

Named as one of the industry’s most anticipated titles for 2014, The Elder Scrolls Online is the latest chapter of the award-winning franchise and will bring the legendary experience online for the first time. Players can choose their own style of play as they embark upon an epic adventure across all of Tamriel, playing alone on heroic quests as in previous Elder Scrolls games, exploring the huge, rich world with a few friends, or joining with hundreds of others in massive PvP battles to save the Empire.

The Elder Scrolls Online is being developed for the PlayStation4 system, Xbox One, PC, and Mac by ZeniMax Online Studios. The studio is headed by industry veteran Matt Firor who has more than 20 years of online game development experience. Working with Matt is a team of highly regarded professionals who have created some of the best known online games ever released.

Be sure to keep a look out for this exciting release coming 4th April 2014!

October 28th Day one (re)purchase for me. Can't wait to play this on PS4

Also, if you own the game + DLC on Steam already, you automatically get this for free on release date.

Wow serious? That is excellent of them!

Does the PC Elder Scrolls Anthology set count? I am guessing not since they will need to check the purchase against an account and not a disc as people can just share the discs?

I'm not sure. Did the Anthology set come with a Steam key? I know the normal PC version did.

As long as you have the game + DLC redeemed on Steam before October 28th, you should be fine. Here is the original Tweet. They also said that it will be a separate game in your Steam library, not an update to the original.

Thanks. I had only checked out Morrowind and DaggerFall from the set so far. I installed Skyrim last night and sure enough it needed me to add it to my Steam account. It has all the DLC so it looks like I am all set

This mod for PC looks insanely detailed - even if the English subtitles don't quite help crate a sense of drama in the trailer.

As long as the mods don't destroy the technical performance, I wonder what sized mods Bethesda will allow with the upcoming remaster?
