@tea, could you confirm whether the deluxe edition of Star Wars Galatic Racer comes with a steelbook?

Holy hell, Hellraise: Revival is really really good.

Hellraiser also at a good price

@Phreak

How Hellraiser made it through the ratings boards is beyond me. But I give the devs 10/10 with authenticity and sticking to what Hellraiser is.

Hellraiser franchise has had it's fair share of ups, downs, more downs and even more downs. But luckily Dimension doesn't have the movie rights anymore. And there is a rumour that Clive Barker is in fact writing and directing a new Hellraiser movie. So that would be amazing.

@Tea: I think Kena 2 was unfortunatly delayed. But its a small team. So its good they get more time.

@phreak - you what im waiting for ... the release date on Kena 2. The first game was a complete gem and likely my game of the year when it was released.

@IkariX: Hearing good things about Hellraiser. Props to the devs for refusing to cencor it. Even for streamers

@VectorTwoSix

For now I would not be hopeful, this article was released https://wccftech.com/phantom-blade-zero-playstation-5-pulled-listings-no-physical-edition/ that shows for now, there is no intention for a physical release, maybe it will be like Black Myth Wukong where they will release physical later

Possibly after the timed exclusivity ends

Look I'm really excited for Phantom Blade Zero, but I refuse to buy it digitally. Much like Black Myth Wukong, I will wait if I have to, but if you're getting a physical, please sign me up (I heard rumours there would be some physicals released).

@Phreak

I'm very excited for FF Resonance.

I'm going to binge play Hellraiser the whole weekend. It's so freaking good. Hellraiser: Revival has such sights to show you.

That is how I understood it, in the comics DP just need to put the parts together and they will fuse and repair…

Spoiler ahead ….don’t read if you have not seen the movie…

Do not…turn away SPIOLER AHEAD

LAST WARNING!

SPOILER…..SPOILER…..SPOILER…..SPOILER…..SPOILER

Now in the movie, the one part fully regenerated, with a Basic Instinct joke in the mix…what happened to the other part? Where that also not supposed to regenerate?

@Bob maybe the writers decided to take the idea of his power from the comics and change it to what suited the film? Heck in comics powers are changed/added/deleted as the writer of that particular story need. The example of Wolvie getting torn in half was the Ultimate version whose powers were far greater than the 616 version at the time. 616 eventually got that powerful and then they did a whole story nerfing him because he was too powerful. Don't overthink it.

Han Solo - wasn't very good, was too long and quite boring.

Batman Ninja - stunning animation marred by incoherent story telling. Batman's samurai armour was pretty bad ass though.

The Shape of Water - fantastic film.

Wouldn't go that far to say it was forgettable, but I also didn't have high expectations for it.

Star Wars will always be the original trilogy for me, all this other stuff is just unnecessary.

Legend
Old Ridley Scott movie with Tom Cruise & Tim Curry.
Not bad, but you only see the Lord of Darkness in the last 30mins though.

Sicario
After watching the trailer for the second one, I was like DAMN! Need to watch the first one, & it was pretty good.

Maximum Overdrive
Old Stephen King movie.
I liked it. I mean it wasn't brilliant, but it was a fun movie.

Batman Gotham by Gaslight
I love how mature these DC animated films have gotten over the years.

You can tell early on when the kid on the field dies, the uncut shows it super-graphically.

The steamroller scene?
I saw the kid fall off his bike, steamroller comes. Cut to other kid, cut back to see to the steamroller just going over the kids head, no blood.

Deadpool 2 - Not as good as the first, but still a fun movie, something I think superhero movies have forgotten how to be. Even if it had been crap, that X-Force sequence alone made it worth the price of admission.

Re-watched Sucker Punch - still a visual treat, still vacuous.

Secret Life of Pets - fun

Cross - complete garbage but loads of unintentional humour, looking forward to the sequel which is apparently even worse.

Maze Runner: Death Cure - 2.5 hour brain fart of a film. Bob, you would have a field day with the logic fails in this film. Questionable morality of 'heroes' to boot. Poor but completes story.

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
With the new movie coming, I thought I better catch up on the originals.
Not very good, maybe it hasn't aged well?

Tomb Raider – Very good movie, much better than the previous versions. Was actually very realistic, I found it a fresh breath how they set up the Chinese mummy as this supernatural being that could destroy the world with a ‘Snap” of her fingers and what her true curse were.

In addition, that fall from the plane with that ripped parachute…I actually felt that fall….

Also, the new Lara Croft is much better looking….

Re-watched The Adventures of Tintin on Google Play. Watched the 3D version at the cinema when it came out. I enjoyed it more this time now I'm over the shock of Spielberg and co thinking they can improve on Herge's narrative.

Finally watched Amistad - fantastic film. (9/10)

Re-watched The Great Escape - what a classic film. (10/10)

Re-watched Titan AE - loved when it came out 17 years ago (!) but found it utter tosh this time around. Animation/CGI still excellent though.

Jurassic World - Hmm....meh.
Could of given this a skip but there was just nothing else on.
Just remember Jurassic Park 2, same story line and they add in a human element at the end which has nothing to do with Jurassic park and dinosaurs... Personally feel it was a Super waste of time.

Gees not much coming out in a while now till AntMan2.

Bill & Teds Bogus Journey
A bit more entertaining then the first one, but still nothing special.

Metal - A Headbangers Journey
Documentary film on metal.
Pretty decent, some good interviews.
Just stay away from that Norwegian stuff. They are legit scary

Robocop Trilogy
The blu rays are excellent quality!
The first movie is the directors cut, with bonus features.
The best movie in the franchise, & a brilliant movie overall.
No bonus features for the second & third movies.
The second movie is good, but the third not so much. The PG restriction just killed it.
