Justice League… Ok…

The movie was ok as an action “superhero movie” but crap as a DC Justice League movie…

They messed up the DC mythology up badly (once again… was it not bad enough they gave Wonder Woman powers she never had in her own movie)….they tried to mash to many of DC’s great storylines into one movie. It was Kingdom Come trying to do a Frank Miller’s Batman…

And what was that tease about the Green Lantern Corps…and Superman’s moustache? They spend millions on special effect and can’t do a proper digitally editing his moustache…. And Aquaman ? was he inspired by Zoolander? As he only knew one pose the entire movie…

And each time Steppenwolf blew his noise we had green explosions…he looked like Magog, he acted like Magog, he had the same weapon as Magog…why not just used Magog as the main villain…


So rather give me Tic Tac and friends… In today’s economical environment, best I stay with a trusted and proven brand and not waist my money on wanna bee’s….

Gal Gadot’s in it, otherwise meh.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle - Really lame follow-up.

Was bored the past few days so started rewatching the F&F films (skipping 2 and Tokyo) and boy is it clear how the franchise went from a fun film about street racers who are also thieves to this improbable and implausible story of world's greatest drivers, thieves, spies and soldiers.

@Magius Also just started re watching the F&F movies.
Don't skip 2 & 3, they are like the first movie. Keeping the true essence of street racing & car tuning, & still having fun with it. From 4 things start to go side ways, until 8 where they jump the sub (the new name for jumping the shark).
& yes, they went from street racing thugs/thiefs, to international spies
Best part is Dominic & his team are the bad guys. Even going as far as turning a undercover cop (Brian) to their side.

They jumped the shark in 6 when they are recruited to take down and manage to do it naturally a bunch of former SAS soldiers. YOuknow it is beyond belief when a street urchin like Letty can go toe to toe with UFC champs Gina Carrano and Rhonda Rousey.

Also while I love the chemistry between The Stath and The Rock, the fact that everyone has forgotten that Deckard is a stone cold killer who murdered an entire hospital as well as one of the "family" beggars belief.

Also don't forget the time they killed her off, & then brought her back with amnesia.
Like I said they are all bad guys, so as for as Deckard goes, its all water under the bridge

Pity Deckard didn't cull more of them. Agree with Magius FF6 is where it turned to[censored] when it looked like FF5 had saved it.

FF1 - excellent
FF2 - guilty pleasure (courtesy of classic 60s muscle cars)
FF3 - poor
FF4 - terrible
FF5 - breath of fresh air
FF6 - lamentable
FF7 - horrendous
FF8 - cartoon film with real life actors which made it bearable

Why does nobody like Tokyo Drift?
Is it because the "family" is not in it or ppl don't like drifting?

Because it's [censored] terrible with a talent-free lead actor

It annoyed gear-heads by putting a Skyline GT-R drivetrain into a Mustang body thereby managing to annoy both muscle car and tuner communities. A big no-no apparently.

Yeah that lead actor was not great, but the movie was still good.
As for annoying the gear-heads, I can understand why. Not that it made any difference to me lol

I think Tokyo Drift was a big let down to everyone when it came out after FF1&2, but the more recent FF movies has made us appreciate Tokyo Drift a little more.

Let's be honest Fast 2 was awful. I will never forgive it for making Tyrese think that he could act

I would never argue for it but it remains a guilty pleasure for the two memorable stars of the film

I liked FF2 because, in that movie, Tyrese was a spitting image of one of my best friends. His appearance, his mannerisms, his...everything. He was a clone. When I watch that movie, I find myself reminiscing about the dumbass and the crap we used to get up to, rather than focusing on what's going on in the film.
