JCVD - Surprisingly good meta-movie about the state of Jean-Claude Van Damme's life. It's not an action movie so don't expect that from it.

The Mummy (2017) - I will have a review up as soon as possible.

xXx Return of Xander Cage
Not bad like the last Resi movie, but bad as in you laugh at it, not with it.
The music was horrible though.
Its silly & over the top, don't over think it. Hell don't think lol
If you watch the bonus features, they say they wanted to have fun & go crazy. They were not trying to be serious, so that makes a bit of a difference at least.
Donnie Yen was awesome! & that Avengers joke right at the beginning had me LOL
Looks like they want to do a third one, & probably will. As it did very well at the box office. Go figure
The first is still the best & on my Blu Ray to buy list

Shutter Island
Good movie!
You do see some of the twists coming though.
Having recently played Outlast, I saw some similarities between the two which was cool.

Colossal – not sure who came up with this idea… a lady who can control a big Japanese Amine kaiju monster…

Sounds awesome…even the trailer looked amazing…however back on the ranch…what a crap movie…the movie is nothing like the promos and trailers…the trailers is giving the wrong ideas…

I was so disappointed in this movie…and you expect the movie to be good since Anne Hathaway is in the lead… don’t waste your time with this movie, rather watch Pacific Rim again…

Life - What a sheer and utter disappointment. I'm not sure what this movie was trying to be? A bit of drama, a bit of horror, but not quite excelling at anything. And all the actors looked like they were completely bored, Just an awful movie. I was so looking forward to it as well.

Arrival - watched with my old man. He enjoyed it. I found it even better the second time around. Classic SF.

John Wick 2 - first hour was boring, second hour was good. Great to see Franco Nero in a cameo.

Joneses - dark comedy from 2010. Pretty good.

The Spirit - visually arresting but pretty rubbish.

Apocalypse Now Redux

Extraordinary but really long.

John Wick Chapter 2
ALMOST as good as the first one, but still a great movie!
Can't wait for Chapter 3

WW again. Still damn good!

Sing Street - 2nd time watching it. Such a cute movie, awesome music.

Power Rangers - was ok nothing amazing but not terrible. That Rita actress really hamed it up though. When the original music played though **** was hype.

Resident Evil Vendetta - best resi movie.

Transformers: The Last Knight.

The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc

Old movie from 1999. I watched it back in the day but was curious to see it again. Still a great movie, it seems to be really underrated.

The Great Wall
Good movie, I enjoyed it.

Django Unchained
Still a great movie!!

Steve Jobs
The Michael Fassbender one, not the Ashton Kutcher one. Never watched the Kutcher one. The Fassbender one was good though.

Siren.

Resident Evil: Vendetta - Leon "John Wick" Kennedy. Seriously, how are there still B.O.W.'s with this guy around???

Wonder Woman - Again. Still amazing.

Huntsman: Winter War ............. zzzzzzzzzzzz

Hansel and Gretal - still rubbish

Quite a movie weekend this weekend;
Thor - Better than I remember, not a patch on later non-Thor films, but still fun.
Avengers - Still great almost six years later.
For a Few Dollars More - Classic Eastwood spaghetti western. Action is not great, but the film is over 50years old so you can forgive poorly laid out action scenes.
Hang 'em High - Eastwood's first American western from MGM. A bit slow, but a great revenge tale. Villains are somewhat one dimensional, but Eastwood plays that steely eyed hero damn well.
The Hurt Locker - Have never seen it and finally decided to give it a go. Very good, but not as great as I thought it was from all the hype. Why anyone puts up with Renner's character's s*** is beyond me. Also when the Specialist confronts him on the medevac I couldn't understand it as he bloody supported him when he wanted to go chasing the bad guys.

Pet Sematary
Love the ending!
The cat came back wrong! The kid came back wrong! But the wife, third times the charm lol

Pet Sematary 2
I can't say if it was as good as the first one, but I enjoyed it.

Wonder woman was quite enjoyable .
