Valor Mortis’s premise and gameplay design is right up my alley. It looks decent to be fair. @IkariX, are you picking up a copy?

Must-have physicals for me are - can be on any platform, but I'd buy these the moment they're announced:

End of Abyss
Phantom Blade Zero
The Drifter
Mina the Hollower
Look Outside
Silver Pines
No Rest for the Wicked

@Cathal

That's a bummer. I might give it a pass then. As much as I love Metro, this is just dumb

Their feedback on someone asking if the game will be on disc:

"METRO 2039 will require an initial download as the game does not fit fully on one disc. To make sure our community gets to experience the game at the same time, you will need an internet connection initially to unlock the game. The game does not otherwise require internet."

@AWXMEM132134 definitely is. Blown away by how good it is, coming from a dev that never made a game on this scale before.

@Tea enjoy Townfall, it's phenomenal. 2 Remake was also incredible. Can't believe we got 3 back to back banger Silent Hill games.

Was this incident in SA? What is our film rating for Deadpool.

You can take kids to a R rated move in the USA. NC-17 means no kiddies allowed.

Seems most countries let you see it unaccompanied at 14/15/16? Can't be that bad.

They played this trailer before Deadpool, looks great, looking forward to it.

I'm pretty interested in it as well. It's being directed by Alex Proyas (Crow, Dark City)

@Sandman Its R rated for a very good reason. Nudity, swearing, violence & LOTS of dirty jokes.

Can you post the link?

She never looked at the rating because it’s a superhero movie and she was shocked about the amount of violence in the movie and they left halfway through the movie…

She is making a big fuss because no one at the cinema warned her about the rating of the movie.

She also reported the movie at the broadcast complains commission and want the movie pulled from the circuit…

Will get the link tonight and post it

Like I said it's directed by Alex Proyas, one the best directors around so I will give it chance. If you haven's seen Dark City you should rectify that immediately.

I really enjoy those films, but that is all he has really done. His other stuff has been middling at best. This film looks to be a fantasy/swords and sorcery spectacle, all flash and no substance.

^ He spent years preparing for Paradise Lost but it was cancelled in 2012 due to $$$. OMFG that would have been awesome ...sigh

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise_lost

For the record I think Clash/Wrath of the Titans was [censored] lamentable so if this anything like that it will be similarly rated by myself. I expect more from Proyas.

Blood Moon - Werewolves in the old West. It was mostly meh.

I'm looking forward to Gods of Egypt, love those old B-movie style hero/creature features. You really don't watch those for story but the monsters and action.

Even more so now that I know it's Proyas. Dark City is still amazing, as is The Crow. Knowing was great as well, though it could have done without the Biblical tie-in.

Also Pride and Prejudice and Zombies this month as well.

Parents are so effing retarded sometimes. How do you not check this stuff? As a parent it is your responsibility, not the cinema. I feel like so many parents today want everyone else to responsible for their children. /end rant

High Fidelity - LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie. I've watched it about 10 times at least.

In Your Eyes

Was ok. It had a very strong Made-for-TV feel to it, but I didn't hate it. They could have spent more time exploring the characters before jumping into the story, as I didn't feel very invested in them at all. There were also some very logical things that the characters could have done in their sitution, but instead they just ignored these for the sake of the story which made it feel cheap. Super surprised to learn this was written by Joss Whedon, felt more like it was written by a group of teenage girls (was that too mean ?). It gets a 6/10 from me

He made some poor films, notoriously the Buffy film, but he gets a pass on that as the studio interfered a lot

The original Buffy movie? I liked that. It was bad as hell, but still kinda fun.

I was thinking more along the lines of Alien Resurrection, Avengers 2

Yep that film and I forgot about Resurrection and AoU had heavy Studio intereference from Perlmutter and the story committee, but that seemed the catalyst for Feige's little coup so let's hope for the films after Civil War

American Ultra - was OK, could have been so much more.

Terminator Genisys - watchable but pointless, not even Emilia Clarke could save it.
